Beautiful lake view home nestled in the vineyards of North East Pa.

Enjoy fishing, boating, the fabulous sunsets over Lake Erie, the fall foliage, Snow skiing and more depending on time of year! Meet the wonderful neighbors, light a fire in the fire pit and enjoy a glass of wine! Cook a steak on the grill! This beautiful home Is large, 3000 square feet, but so inviting. There is a master bedroom downstairs with it’s own private deck, a guest bedroom upstairs, plus a bedroom with an adjoining room with 2 twin beds. There is a gas fireplace, a tv room, a gourmet kitchen and lots of outdoor living spaces. (This is a non-smoking property.)

Relaxing and quiet family vacation!

We had a great stay at Daphne and Mel’s rental house. It’s in a quiet and peaceful side-street with views of Lake Erie. The house was well stocked and Daphne was super responsive to my questions. This was a great location to hit all the favorites in Erie, and a good jumping off point for Niagra. We’d definitely stay here again!

Spacious, Clean Vacation Home

We really enjoyed our stay at Daphne's house, which was located on a private, quiet street in the country near the water. The house was modern, clean, with hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. The backyard was spacious and included a deck and a patio. Daphne was very helpful when we had questions. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful home!!

This was such a lovely immaculate home!! We would definitely stay here again! It was just a short trip for skiing but cannot wait to go back on the summer or fall and see all the wineries and enjoy the lake!!

Close to our Harborcreek & Erie relatives with space to entertain indoors or out depending on the weather. Love the little walk to the stony beach. Enjoyed the Erie Philharmonic concert in Gibson Park, North East.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood

The house was immaculate and Daphne was always quick to answer questions pre-trip (we didn't have any need to contact her during our stay). The backyard is perfect for grilling and hanging out. The grape vineyards on one side of the property and in the backyard offer a quiet, private setting. We would stay there again.

Great House, Quiet Neighborhood...A Very Pleasant Experience

This was our second stay at the property. The house is well maintained, clean and has a spacious backyard with vineyards on one side and along the backside of the house. There's a roomy patio area which is great for gathering with friends and family. We would definitely stay there again. An added plus -- Daphne, the Host, is quick when responding to messages.

Amazing!

I rented this house for my bridesmaids and I to stay at the night before and get ready at the day of and it was absolutely beautiful. So much room, so clean and so cute! We loved staying here and we’re beyond grateful to have such a beautiful space to all be together to celebrate my marriage!

Perfect New Years

The property was in a perfect location for us to spend New Years. It was near many of the wineries and downtown Northeast. The house was large, comfortable and extremely clean. The owner made check in and out easy and was quick to respond anytime I had a question. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Setting

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Quiet and peaceful, with lake views. There are apple and pear trees on the property, and the propery backs up to a vineyard, which gives a sense of privacy. Rabbits and turkeys were frequent visitors in the backyard, it was magical. There is a beautiful back deck for stargazing at night. The home interior is beautifully decorated and was well stocked with all of the conveniences of home (towels, cooking utensils, etc). The layout of the house was perfect for our needs, traveling with our young son and his grandparents - plenty of bedrooms with full bathrooms, nicely spaced out. Beautiful memories were made here, highly recommend.

Fishing trip with the guys

beautiful home for our family reunion

we spent time sitting outside at the table on the patio enjoying the vineyard view and peaceful setting. it’s an easy walk to the access to the lake which we used every time to enjoy lake views. The street where the home is located is quiet and pretty to walk along each morning. the home easily accommodated our family of 7 with ample beds and bathrooms! we were able to walk to Mazza winery one afternoon. we would stay here again! thank you.

My husband Mel and I are from Buffalo New York and currently split our time between North East and Naples Florida. Our kids and grandkids are still in Buffalo so we are in North East every couple of months. We love traveling, cooking, reading and gardening. Being that we are retired this works perfectly for us.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in my family for 40 years. My parents bought it as a summer retreat. About 25 years ago, they decided to make it their permanent residence and built a 3000 square foot house with 4 bedrooms so that they could host family gatherings. Five years ago my parents turned over the house to us. It was too much for them to take care of. My Mom has since passed and my Dad turns 98 this year. We have added our own touches to the house and the yard. We love the lake, the weather, the grape vines and the town of North East. It is quiet and peaceful. You don't have to feel rushed and stressed. You can listen to the waves from the front porch and just relax. Life is not in a hurry here!

What makes this property unique

Since we aren't here all the time, we thought it would be nice to share this beautiful place with others. It is hard on a house to stand empty, and this house was meant for family. There are actually 4 bedrooms but one has an attached room that is great for a family with kids. We have three full baths, a tv room, a great room with a gas fireplace and a dining room. The kitchen is very spacious with a butcher block topped island. We love cooking and baking so we have a fully stocked kitchen. The house sits on almost an acre with a big yard and we have our own grape vines! There are many sitting areas around the house, front porch, back porch and deck. We have a graveled fire pit area that we love to sit around in the spring and fall. We also enjoy sitting on the front porch and watching the sunsets.
