Treat yourself - Enjoy Spring and summer on the lake.
Haus am See (House on the Lake) is a beautiful couple's get-away (1 couple, 2 couples, or a small family) with the best lake views on the street from a first-floor deck and a 2nd-floor master bedroom balcony. Bald eagles launch nearby out over the lake and the water is wildly spectacular.
The home is located in a small lakeside residential community - 4 miles from downtown North East. The home features a large master bedroom (king-sized bed and sitting area), a second small bedroom with 2 twin beds that can also be placed together as a full, a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances and cookware, and upstairs and downstairs full bathrooms. Private neighborhood lake access is only a few yards away.
Visit the many local wineries in minutes, and there is plenty else to do nearby, including antiquing, biking, fishing, golf, hiking, shopping, and enjoying small-town amenities in North East. Have breakfast at Butch’s Diner; grab coffee and snacks at the Bean; walk around Gibson Park and the Main Street Shops; and have a delicious dinner at the Skunk & Goat.
Most areas of Erie are a short 30-minute drive. Catch a show at the Warner theater or a Sea Wolves AAA ball game at UPMC Park. Beautiful Presque Isle State Park and the Tom Ridge Environmental Center are reached in 40 minutes. Visit Findley Lake, the Chautauqua Institution, and Lake Chautauqua.
You will be about an hour and a half from Buffalo, and under 2 hours to Niagara Falls, Canada; 2 hours 15 minutes from Pittsburgh; and 1 hour and 45 minutes from the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH.

Lovely stay at this property. The home was lovely and comfortable. Check in was easy. The area had lots to do, even in the winter. And the amenities at the home were fantastic as were the views. Would 100% recommend.

Thank you for visiting the area in winter. I'm glad to hear you found things to stay active and enjoyed your stay
I had a truly wonderful stay! The property is extremely well taken care of and well equipped and I'm not sure that you could ask for a better location. I really appreciated the amazing kitchen, cozy couch, and wonderful master bedroom. If you are looking for a great Lake Erie view, this is your spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Ethan’s place. Absolutely gorgeous views and the house is so comfortable you don’t want to leave. So nice sitting on the deck watching the eagles fly by. We will definitely be back for another stay hopefully soon.A

Thank you. The different seasons are worth seeing. I’ll be staying a couple weeks around chrisTmas. Im looking forward to the dramatic seas.
I would highly recommend this property for the perfect view of the lake on the deck and from the main bedroom, the cleanliness, and easy access to the quaint downtown of North East. Our stay couldn’t have been better!
An unexpected trip for a family funeral had me stay here, and it was the perfect place to rest, restore and find beauty in the waters of Lake Erie. Ethan could not have made my stay better. Easy to follow directions and suggestions, gorgeous views and the most comfortable bed. Would highly, highly recommend and will be plan to return my family.
We loved our stay here! The view is absolutely stunning and the host provided anything and everything we would need for a comfortable stay. This is a great location, close to Presque Isle and the bay, yet not right in the middle of things so it was nice and quiet, and so close to the wine trail!
