Our trip to Lake Gaston was wonderful. The view of the lake is beautiful and so much appreciated. The biggest hit was the second story jump off dock. Everyone loved it and the jumps over the week were too numerous to count. The house provides so much to do .....kayaks, paddle board, fire pit and games inside and out. Bring your fishing pole if you like fishing cause this is a great spot for kids. The children were happy and active each day of our stay. I gave 5 stars to our host but if I'd been able, I would have given more. Joe goes above and beyond and was very helpful and informative.

Lovely get-away for the whole family

My family and I had a wonderful time at Kristin's. It was clean, quiet, spacious, and had everything we needed for a 3 day get-away. The game room, bikes and boats kept all the kids busy and active. The view was beautiful and I wish we could have spent another week at this peaceful oasis.

Great place to stay. Off the main lake where it is safe for the kids yet a couple hundred yards to the main lake. Kids love jumping off the upper deck. This was our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely be back.

We loved the house and the boat dock. The view was also amazing. We made great memories!

Spacious house with beautiful views of the lake. New boat dock with plenty of chairs, even for our large group. Kitchen is a little small for a large group but we made it work. Definitely would recommend this rental to friends.

We didn't want to leave

We had a fabulous week at this property. What a great location on the lake. We spent almost every day on the dock fishing or playing games and relaxing. This location was a wonderful halfway point for family in Florida and New Hampshire. Lots of space to be together and space to go off and read or watch your favorite show.

Yes the cost was great, the amenities was great, could have been better if there was more TVs. two were not enough. Needed some in the bedrooms, when on vacation I and my family members like to go in their bedrooms and watch diffident program. Also two bathrooms were not enough. No room had its own bathroom. other than that everything was great.

Mabel (and Johnny), I’m confused since you have stayed before? You can clearly see the room lay out and bathrooms? There are literally hundreds of Lakehouse rentals with more TV’s and more bathrooms (probably at a higher cost). We don’t put tv’s in the rooms because we want people to enjoy the lakehouse and each other (ie- unplug). Hopefully next year you can find a place that meets your expectations.

Lovely Lake Gaston Getaway

Our goal was a relaxing and fun week of watersports, chilling, and grilling! Carolina Haven provided us with the opportunity to satisfy all of our goals and more! The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully situated on a quiet cove just minutes from the main lake, and we loved jumping from the deep water dock! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us. It was a great week!
