The location was great in relation to Bryson City and all the things the area has to offer. The house was cozy and beds were comfortable with plenty of room for the 8 guests we had. Hosts were easy to communicate with and we will consider staying again when in the area.

Renting to guests like yourselves couldn’t be easier. Thank you for taking good care of our place! We look forward to your next stay!
Had a bit of a hiccup early on in the trip and the owner was very eager to make it right. Beautiful area and home would definitely come again. Nice extra touches like marshmallow roasting sticks, firewood and toys for the kids.
We have rented cabins in the Bryson City area for many years. This was among the best properties. Easy to access, convenient to Bryson, and the amenities were excellent. Everyone enjoyed the stay.
Great location and great property! We spent a day at the Nantahala and a day tubing and exploring Cherokee. I highly recommend this property. The owners communicated very well.
It was a spacious home for a large family celebration and a set up for great memory making- meals together, fire pit, games, etc. There was great communication and everything was smooth. We had a great visit!
All we really did was use this as our place to sleep each night, but we had a really comfortable stay. 4 couples, each with their own room and full bathroom really made this stay feel luxurious. And divided 4 ways, its very affordable this way.
Our stay was wonderful as we visited to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City! We had two families with five kids combined and were more than comfortable at the house! There was plenty of room but areas to divide up at the same time. The top floor did get bit cold at nighttime, but the hosts provided plenty of blankets and ways to remedy that. Stephanie and Matt were super responsive when I had questions prior to our arrival and helpful when they were able to provide an early check-in. Peaceful area that is close to everything if you need, but far enough away to avoid people/traffic! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing hosts, lovely home for a large family with all the comforts of home, beautiful location!!!! Huge thanks for a sharing your place with us! We would love to come back again!
We are a family of 9, all adults. We frequently rent a home so we can all stay together when we travel. This property was perfect for us. Kitchen is well-equipped, the bed were comfy and we loved hanging out outside. We enjoyed the firepit, covered outdoor spaces and just sitting in the rockers on the wrap-around porch. Would highly recommend this property for your family visits to the Bryson City area.
This home is WONDERFUL. Plenty of space, phenomenal outdoor areas, super convenient (yet still out of the way) location, and a top-notch, exceptionally responsive host. We are already eager to find time to return to Bryson City and stay at this house again. Thank you to Steph for answering all of my questions and providing such a fantastic home-away-from-home for our family's stay.
This was a fishing trip with my brothers and nephew and this place was perfect. Close to town and roads to go anywhere. Fireplace was nice outside and inside. Kitchen was gorgeous and done very well
Beautiful home and property, my family's second time spending a week here and we're already talking about a third trip.

About the host
Hosted by Stephanie Begansky
We are a young family that loves the great outdoors. This home was our primary residence for a few years until our Active Duty status moved us away. We hope to return full time some day but meanwhile wanted to share this home with other families to create wonderful mountain memories!
Why they chose this property
We love how close this house is to town, hiking trails, the Nantahala Outdoor Center, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and Fontana Lake! Everyday you can have a new adventure only minutes from the doorstep. Whether you want to just relax by the fireplace, go hiking, go tubing, go fishing, ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, or take in a scenic sunset, this is the perfect launching point.
What makes this property unique
Tucked away for privacy but no steep or long driveway, cell reception, and internet availability are rare to find in Western North Carolina. We have it all in this gorgeous and relaxing retreat. Sit on the deck and wave to those riding the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, listen to the birds sing, and then get out and see the sights!
