The house was very private and definitely family-friendly, and pet-friendly. There was plenty of room for the nine of us staying there. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was fun for the family. We had some issues after we first checked in, but the rental company was fast to respond. Carolina Mountain rentals responded whenever we needed to call them. One thing you need to know is that it’s a 4 1/2 mile drive on winding roads once you get through the gate until you get to the house, but beautiful scenery. No need for 4 x 4 during the summer months, but not sure about winter time.
