If you’re looking for the ideal family vacation rental right near Northstar Village, you’ve found it! This cozy, modern mountain retreat has been beautifully updated to accommodate your entire family in style! Located an easy ten minute walk from the Village center, guests will be able to enjoy the peace and quiet of Silver Strike while being near to everything Northstar California Resort has to offer! Summer or winter, there is so much to see and do in the Northstar area!

INSIDE THE HOME
On the main floor of Silver Strike, guests will find an impeccably updated, open plan main floor with a cozy living room, modern kitchen and dining area and unique loft. The kitchen has a modern industrial design with high-end appliances and the adjoining dining area has seating for five. The small loft area is the ultimate hangout space and on the patio, guests can relax and enjoy the fire table or grill up some dinner on the BBQ.

The lower floor of Silver Strike is where guests will find two comfortable bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed, flatscreen TV and private patio, the other furnished with double and twin bunk beds and two bathrooms.

Please note: the stairs to the loft are steep and narrow and should be used by guests over the age of 12 with adult supervision.

Located in the lovely Aspen Grove Complex, Silver Strike is a short ten minute walk to Northstar Village amenities and gondolas to Northstar California Resort.

Explore the shores of Lake Tahoe, hike one of the trails in the area, book horseback riding and you can enjoy the many amenities at the Northstar Property Owners’ Association (NPOA) Recreation Center!

Great location and nice clean place

Stayed here for a ski week in Feb with our 2 kids and it was perfect. Easy to get to the mountain and had everything we needed. Kids loved the bunk beds and the loft space. Will be back!

Wonderful experience

The property was perfect for a weekend of skiing. Everything was comfortable and updated. So easy to take the shuttle to and from Northstar. The property managers were proactive and extremely helpful. Would be very happy to stay here again in the future!

Perfect Mountain Condo!

We loved staying at this condo! It was very clean, comfortable, nicely updated and had a well-stocked kitchen. It felt very taken care of and loved. The location is so convenient, a 10 minute (or less if you don't have kids in tow) walk to the village or a quick shuttle ride. We'll definitely be staying here again!

Great location for a family ski trip

This property was perfect for our family of four. Very close to the village (about a 1 minute shuttle ride), clean, plenty of kitchen supplies. The kids loved the loft area and the fireplace was great during the snow storm. The property management was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Presidents Day Ski Trip

My family had a great time at this Silver Strike property for a few days of skiing. Then condo was well stocked and we enjoyed the close proximity to the slopes. It was easy to either walk or grab the shuttle. We hope to be back!

We had a lovely visit. Kitchen was very well stocked (cooked Thanksgiving dinner). Only suggestions would be a tea kettle and a pasta strainer. Great location - could walk to Northstar. Very easy check in and communication.

Really just perfect

Rented the property for a quick getaway with kids in the summer. Could not have been more satisfied. The house was clean and beautiful and the owners have maximized the space to its highest potential. We loved that it was only a 10 minute walk to the village and rec center (where the pools, playground, and hot tub are located). Incredibly convenience location within Northstar and very convenient for exploring Tahoe in general. Would definitely stay again!

Spacious, well-equipped, and convenient

This property helps reinforce why we really like staying in the Silver Strike area of Northstar: you simply get more space and amenities for your budget. The main floor was great, with a large dining table and kitchen island along with fully functioning appliances. The downstairs bathrooms featured plenty of towels and hooks as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and the in-unit washer and dryer made drying things out much easier at the end of each day. The property sits along a walkway between Silver Strike and Aspen Grove, so you actually have your choice of shuttle stops. In either case, a shuttle ride to the village is no more than a couple of minutes. We can't wait to visit this property again!

the condo is great, the kitchen stocked with anything we needed... unfortunately, the first bath shower did not have hot water so all 4 of us ended up having to share the other bathroom which cancelled out the value of renting a place with two full baths. we patiently tried the shower in both positions, anticipating that maybe it was plumbed backwards.... both ways, freezing cold water. The kitchen and the other bath had hot water pretty much right away so it wasnt a water heater issue.

Nicely Renovated Condo close to the Village

This condo is closer to the Northstar Village than we've stayed before (except the one time we stayed IN the village), which made getting up there pretty convenient. We were very happy with the style of the interior -- it had been renovated to be more open between the Kitchen, Dining Room and Living Room. The decor was all great quality and a little bit modern, which we liked. The Kitchen was pretty well stocked with tools and bowls, pans, etc. The pantry had room for our food supplies, with a broom and a step ladder all easily accessible. The beds were pretty comfy (Primary Bedroom was fantastic), and the bedding and towels were nice, soft and clean. The bathrooms were small, but we were expecting that from previous stays at these types of condos in Northstar. Our one complaint -- which we have had with all the multi-level condos at Northstar -- the ground floor was freezing cold while the "living area" floor gets too warm. I don't think it can be helped, just something to be aware of. All in all, I would stay there again.

Convenient Location to Hit the Slopes

This was a really great location to hit the slopes, just a 2-minute drive to the Village or a 10-minute walk is what others have said. We ended up driving since we had a lot of ski gear but other reviewers mentioned using the free shuttle service. The condo is nicely decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. As someone else mentioned, it would be really nice if you added a kettle for making hot tea, hot chocolate, etc. A few minor issues - the temperature is tough to regulate since the bedrooms are downstairs. It's often either too cold or too hot despite a nice NEST monitor. I think this is an issue with multi-level condos so not sure if anything can be done. The drain in the master bathroom sink wouldn't stay up so the water drains slowly. It would also be great to have some tissue boxes provided instead of only toilet paper. I provided this feedback to the property management company upon checkout but have not heard back. Overall, we had a great stay in a really convenient location near Northstar. Thank you!

Relaxing ski weekend

The condo was in a great location with easy shuttle service to Northstar Village and the rec center. We enjoyed the cozy living space with fireplace and the loft area was the perfect hangout spot for my tween girls. Received detailed instructions and information from property manager and check in/check out was easy. Would love to come stay again!

We will come again!

We had a great stay! The condo has everything you need for a weekend trip to the slopes, including a great living area and kitchen with everything you need to make your own food. The best part of the place though was that it was walking distance to the village. It took a bit of navigating to find the path behind the condos in the dark but in the end it was about a 10 min walk to the Gondola. We carried our boards and it was easy enough. If you have young kids or don't want to walk, there is also a shuttle which you can call. We will come again!

Great spot with east access to the village

Great spot with east access to the village for rentals, food, lifts, etc. My husband worked while I skied and he said the Wi-Fi was strong, in case anyone else is looking for a place to WFM!
