INSIDE THE HOME

On the main floor of this unique split-level chalet style home, guests will find an open plan main living area with a large, comfortable living room, large, bright kitchen, dining area, generous patio with a BBQ and incredible views and stunning primary suite. The lower floor of Northstar offers guests even more comfortable living spaces, with a casual den, two additional bedrooms and two bathrooms plus an outdoor hot tub.
Maximum 2 pets allowed and $100/pet fee must be paid before check-in.

The Northstar Home Away from Home is located in the gorgeous Northstar neighborhood, just south of Truckee. Guests at Northstar are only a few minutes away from Northstar Golf Course, the shores of Lake Tahoe, and Northstar Village where you can find gondolas to take you up to Northstar California Resort for skiing and snowboarding! Plus, Guests at Northstar also have access to the Northstar Property Owners’ Association (NPOA) Recreation Center for only a small fee per day!

Home was clean, spacious and exactly as described. Plenty of extra towels and linens. If you plan to cook, kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, bowls, utensils, etc (not always the case in Tahoe!). Hot tub was super easy to use and worked great. Views out the back are spectacular!

Great Pet Friendly Get-away!

As those who travel with their 4-legged friends will appreciate, finding a clean and beautiful rental that takes any pets, let alone 2 dogs, is very difficult. This location did not disappoint. It is a clean comfortable home with all the amenities. It's close to the NorthStar resort and we had a lovely birthday celebration at the Ritz (with our dogs). Couldn't have asked for better! The walking paths were also a plus -right outside the door!

Cozy cabin !

Had a great stay at this North Star cabinGreat views from the living room Great location to the village and shuttle literally picks/drops you from the cabins’ front door Only thing to be aware is there are coyotes that came to the edge of the property where golf course is so be careful - we had a small dog so kept it on leash Cabin was very clean and cozy and great fireplace and hot tub was perfect !

We had a wonderful time at this property! The hosts were gracious and let us have an early check in and a late check out. The views from the deck were gorgeous and the hot tub was perfect at the end of the day. Will definitely stay there again!

Great Northstar Rental

We had a perfect 3 night stay at this spacious, comfortable, well-detailed home. The area is quiet, gorgeous and within a stone’s throw of Northstar. We will (hopefully) return next year.

Had a really nice stay. The house is clean and well-maintained. Has a bright, open feel that is even better than the pics. Shuttle access for the slopes is a huge plus. Definitely coming back.

Exceeded Expectations

We stayed for Thanksgiving and were really impressed with the the whole house, the layout and cleanliness. We enjoyed cooking our Turkey in a well stocked kitchen and sitting by the fireplace. Great location in the North Star resort area. Will definitely recommend and come back in the future.

Loved it!

This was a great stay for us. There was plenty of room to spread out, a gorgeous view from the main room and kitchen, along with a lovely deck and hot tub. The shuttle to the village is easy and quick. We would love to own a house like this!

Family Ski Weekend

We had a fantastic stay in this home! It was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view of the open golf course. We especially loved the layout, with the master bedroom upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs, plus a cozy hangout room. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day of skiing. The Northstar shuttle system was incredibly convenient—just download the app, and a van picks you up right at your door to take you to the mountain. We’re definitely coming back to this house!

Great house, beautiful views

Our family enjoyed a fantastic long weekend at this cozy house. The location is fantastic for all Northstar activities and a quick 15 minute drive down to the lake or up to Truckee. Having a separate bathroom for each bedroom made it convenient for us with a toddler as well. We will be back!
