Villa Diana is located in a very quiet area between the villages of Moncarapacho and Fuseta in the district of Olhão. The Ria Formosa, with its unique flora and fauna, and the friendly fishing village of Fuseta with its wonderful beach are only 4 km away. There are also many shopping and dining options nearby. It is only 10 km to the famous market halls of Olhão, and the romantic town of Tavira is just 15 km away.
Away from busy roads, the villa sits in the middle of green countryside on a gentle hill. While relaxing by the pool or on the roof terrace, guests can enjoy wide views over the landscape – from the Serra mountains in the distance, across the flat coastal region, all the way to the Atlantic, of which a small strip can be seen from the roof terrace.
The house, built in the 1990s, has two bedrooms and a large bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. The bright living room of 40 m² includes a dining area, and next to it are the open kitchen and a utility room.
All rooms are equipped with modern air‑conditioning units that can cool or heat. For the colder season, a wood‑burning stove and a gas central heating system are available on request.
An elegant spiral staircase leads to the small tower room, which offers an additional sleeping place for one person (on request). Next to it is the large roof terrace with sun loungers, a table and chairs.
More sunny and shaded places to relax can be found around the villa. At the back, a lovingly designed garden has been created, and an outdoor shower provides refreshment. Facing the pool area, there is a covered terrace directly in front of the large living‑room window, with a view of the small stone garden. Under the large carob tree, guests can enjoy the romantic half‑shade.
All of this is available exclusively to guests of Villa Diana. About 30 metres behind the holiday home, separated by a tall oleander hedge, the owner lives there from time to time, but she always respects the privacy of her visitors.

Peaceful with a great view

Really enjoyed our stay. Might be better with AC in the summer and prepare for unpaved roads but very peaceful with a great view.

Nicely landscaped property, very well maintained. House is even nicer than the pictures show, everything is well kept and tastefully decorated. Every window has a screen (this is not always the case when renting a house!). It was so nice to have windows and doors open all the time. We enjoyed the house very much and would highly recommend it to anyone.

VILLA DIANA

We went in January for 8 days and discovered we had to pay for gas (for the heating), the electricity and even the firewood (per kilo) just to keep the villa warm. Overall it added circa 10% to the cost. The villa was nice, but down a single lane dirt track which was difficult to find in the dark. There is no ACUs - I'm sure the location is fine in the summer season but we will not be returning for a winter trip again.

A Perfect Getaway in the Algarve!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa in the Algarve, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and found the villa to be even more beautiful than the photos. The location is perfect—tucked away in a peaceful area, yet still close to all the attractions and stunning beaches the Algarve has to offer. The villa itself is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with all the modern amenities you could wish for. We particularly loved the outdoor space; the private pool was a highlight, perfect for relaxing on sunny days, and the garden was well-maintained, offering a tranquil escape with plenty of seating areas. The bedrooms were comfortable, with plenty of storage space. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the large dining area was perfect for family dinners. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Overall, this villa provided the perfect base for our holiday in the Algarve.

Tolle Villa, toller Pool, toller Ausblick

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt in der Villa Diana. Sie ist sehr schön, groß und der Pool und der Ausblick sind ein Traum. Wir haben mehrere Ausflüge in die nahe gelegenen Städte unternommen (z.B. Moncarapacho, Faro, Tavira), wo man auch toll Essen gehen kann. Um an Sandstrände zu kommen, braucht es wegen der Ria Formosa und den vorgelagerten Lagunen etwas länger. Wenn man dann aber da ist, sind diese auch sehr schön. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch Familie Röver ist auch sehr gut.

Maison appréciable pour une famille

Globalement bonne expérience! Équipement un peu rustique. Douche très longue à devenir chaude, ainsi que vite froide pour une famille de 4 personnes. Toilettes vite bouchées. Manque du nécessaire de base au début : 1 seul rouleau papier WC, pas de sel/ huile d’olive, sacs poubelle, lessive…etc. Piscine ( non chauffée) facilement sale, filtres pas très souvent en fonction automatique…

Thanks for the feedback. The boiler was brand new before the guests arrived, that was just a question of adjustment, but they didn't mention the problem. Canalisation is normally not a problem, maybe they are used to need to much toilet paper... The pool is cleaned weekly, can happen on windy days that foliage etc. was blowed inside.

Entspannter Urlaub

Wir haben das schöne Haus, den tollen Pool und wunderbaren Ausblick beim Essen auf der Terrasse sehr genossen. Auch die verschiedenen Strände in der Gegend und die Städtchen lohnen einen Besuch. Wir können diese Unterkunft empfehlen.

Haus mit Charakter

Der beste Moment ist der frühe Morgen auf der Terrasse. Das Panorama hat Kultstatus und ist geeignet, Bodenhaftung für Gestresste zu erlangen. Mit dieser Vision ist das Gebäude entstanden und hat uns nunmehr verwöhnt. Der parkähnliche, sehr gepflegte Garten erhöht den repräsentativen Charakter des gesamten Anwesens und für einen Augenblick gleicht es einer filmreifen Schlossauffahrt, wenn das weiße schmiedeeiserne Tor sich langsam öffnet. Eine Kaffeetafel mit der Eigentümerin, Frau Piel war für uns ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis und auf eine andere Art die überaus freundliche, professionelle und entgegenkommende Betreuung durch Familie Röver. Trotz der Ausrüstung aller Fenster mit wärmegedämmten Jalousien ist der Aufwand das Gebäude im Januar zu beheizen relativ hoch, die Warmwasserbereitung hingegen ist günstig, ebenso wie die Bereitstellung von Brennholz für den Gebläsekamin. In den dicken Betten haben wir ausgezeichnet geschlafen. Das Innendekor ist ausgewählt und nicht überladen. Zur Küchenausstattung zählen auch Eierbecher, eine Thermoskanne sowie eine elektrische Saftpresse. Ein hochwertiger, gasbetriebener Grill im Außenbereich macht das Grillerlebnis perfekt. Letztendlich waren wir angereist, um so oft wie möglich den Praia do Barril zu besuchen, den für uns schönsten Strand der Algarve - und der liegt gleich um die Ecke.

Wunderschöner Platz für einen ruhgen Urlaub

Wir waren schon bei der Anreise beeindruckt von der Lage. Genauso wir wir es nach der Beschreibung erwartet hatten. Ruhig und einsam. Das Haus, der Pool und der Ausblick ein Traum. Durch das tolle Wetter haben wir das Bad gar nicht gebraucht. Draußen duschen bei Sonnenschein was ein Luxus. Unkomplizierte Übergabe , sehr netter Kontakt zu der Agentur. So muss es sein um Urlaub zu machen. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir haben zehn wunderschöne und erholsame Urlaubstage in der Villa Diana verbracht. Die Villa, der Pool und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt und außerordentlich gut ausgestattet. Wir haben die tolle Gastfreundschaft der Eigentümerin sehr geschätzt, die uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und möchten gerne wiederkommen!

Tolle Unterkunft mit traumhaftem Blick

Das Objekt hatte alle in der Anzeige beschriebenen Markmale. Vermieter und Agentur waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Charmante Lage mit Blick in Richtung NO über zauberhafte Orangenplantage. Komplette Einrichtung der Küche etc. - auch wenn nicht mehr ganz neu. Wir waren super zufrieden und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Shortened annual holiday

The villa was beautiful, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside and ideal for the quiet relaxing holiday we needed. Sadly the only 2 negatives were firstly the weather towards the end of the first week could have been better, COVID-19 lockdown at home causing the cancellation of our return flight meant we had to cut short and return home early. We’re looking forward to returning at a more secure time though.

Wohlfühloase für Ruhesuchende

Die Fotos lügen nicht. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es hat eine wunderbare Fernsicht ( von der Dachterrasse sieht man sogar das Meer ). Alles ist sauber und gepflegt, kurz vor uns wurden neue Fenster und Türen eingebaut, das macht es sehr komfortabel. Die Hausbetreuung ist hilfsbereit und herzlich, wahrt aber die Privatsphäre der Mieter. Der Garten weist sehr schöne Pflanzen ( u.a. viele Zitrusbäume, deren reife Früchte wir für den Eigenbedarf pflücken durften ) und immer wieder Sitzgelegenheiten auf. Die Zufahrt über einen längeren unbefestigten Weg ist zwar etwas mühsam, dafür hat man seine absolute Ruhe, weshalb wir für unsere Bedürfnisse die volle Sternzahl vergeben.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus mit wunderbarer Rundum-Aussicht ideal zum Entspannen mit der Familie oder mit Freunden. Angenehme und zugewandte, gleichzeitig sehr dezente Vermieterin. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, netter Pool mit sehr schön angelegtem Garten mit Zitronen, Grapefruit und Orangenbäumen. Korrekte Abrechnung der Nebenkosten.
