We had a great week in late September, with fantastic weather for the time of year. Nicolas was a great host, excellent communication and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend for a quiet holiday, we will hopefully return at some point.

This property is an absolute gem. It felt like you were completely secluded from everything, off the beaten track, but at the same time, you were so close to excellent restaurants, shops and some fabulous places of interest we hadn't even heard of. Highly recommend the Salt Mines in Loule. Faro is so close, we spent a great day in the old town. Communication from Nicolas was excellent and any query answered immediately. The pool area and gardens are glorious, with fruit trees in the garden the kids had some oranges straight from the tree. Would love to go back.

The indoor- outdoor space was as tranquil and inviting as the photographs suggest. Birds nesting in cypresses, swifts saying hello in the late afternoon. Fantastic location- semi rural, yet 10 minutes drive to Loulé- great supermarket and even better Saturday market in the centre (go early for an easy parking space). 20 mins from Faro, 30mins to Tavira. Nicolas was very responsive with communications and the property guide was accurate and easy to follow. May was the perfect time - and the pool, delicious.

Very enjoyable stay

Really lovely relaxing stay with everything we needed. Location meant we weren’t overlooked. Great for watching all the different birds, especially the resident swallows. The villa is down a dirt track that is very narrow at times, but we got used to it. There were a couple of barking dogs that could be heard overnight, but aside from that everything was fab.

Excellent Villa

We spent a week at this villa, it was a gorgeous villa. The location was remote but that suited us perfectly and still only 10-15 minute drive to all amenities. The outside space was idyllic and we loved spending time there. The villa was well equipped too.

Idyllic rural location 15 mins drive from Loule. Excellent spot for a Peaceful retreat from the modern world but within 15-30 minute drive of shops, towns, beaches, airport etc and with all important wifi. Check in was simple with detailed information on all aspects of the procedure and the villa supplied in good time by Nicholas. The house was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities required for a great stay. The pool was amazing but durable our stay it was just a bit too cold despite the temperatures being around 25C during the day. There are no restaurants or bars within reasonable walking distance. Beware that the track from the main road to the villa is unpaved and rugged. Careful with the hire car as you usually aren't covered for damage caused off road. It's perfectly safe but drive with care. Grounds and countryside are stunning. We would definitely consider going back for a longer stay.

Wonderful holidays under Portuguese sun

Nice villa in a very quiet, rural neighborhood. Nice bathrooms and spacious kitchen. Comfy beds. Nice view from the pool to the (distant) Ocean. The pool was nice and clean. The place is secluded so very private, but car is a must.

We rented nicolas’ villa to go on a family holiday post covid wedding! It was beautiful, the villa is well located under 15- 30 minutes from everywhere (airport, designer outlet, supermarkets, old town, zoo/krazy world, beach) Great surroundings, friendly local people, great communication with Nicolas, responds very fast and very accommodating, :)

Wonderful stay

First time in Portugal and first time villa holiday. Was perfect we loved every minute of our stay. Villa was perfect. We arrived slightly earlier than check in and the housekeeper kindly allowed us to wait around the pool area until she had finished. The area was beautiful and peaceful. Only a short drive to some amazing restaurants. Portugal is so beautiful 🇵🇹 💓

Great villa in a peaceful location

Family of four adults. Had a lovely relaxing break, with day trips out to various locations. Car a must, villa is well kept, some lovely restaurants nearby (5-10 mins in a car). Could do with some more towels, but otherwise well equipped for a great holiday. Many thanks, would recommend.

Nice location with lot of space

We enjoyed this nice house in a very quite and large garden area very much. Just some small ideas for optimization: better pans and pots in the kitchen, and a shower with more water pressure (which might be caused by the elevated location in the hills.). Maybe two towels instead of one per person would be ideal for a stay of one week.

It is a pleasure reading that you enjoyed our property very much! About the water pressure, you are maybe right but also water pressure reductions are ongoing in the Algarve because of the drought. You are welcome if you travel again to Portugal !

A Tranquil location

A lovely property to rent, feels more special than your average holiday rental. Location quite remote but that suited us. You need a car. We spent all of our time outside enjoying the pool and covered veranda. The surrounding garden is beautiful. The property is very well equipped, well maintained and clean. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to others and are hopeful that we will visit again.
