Stayed here for the Ironman 70.3 Eagleman. The property was great with a fully amenitized kitchen and lots of space. Super close to the race start and nice to have room for everyone.
Came with a group of friends for the Wild Goose Chase cycling event in Blackwater and we had a terrific time. House is beautifully appointed. We cycled, kayaked, ate and laughed on the shores.
Property was as advertised. Well maintained, well equipped, and very clean. Wish we had more time to use kayaks, enjoy the river, and explore the area. Great hosts!
Beautifully decorated home curated to perfection and full of amenities to make your stay feel like a luxury resort with a homey feel. Owners have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable: beach towels, extra luxurious bedding, games, and even a bottle of wine and a cookbook full of local recipes. Kayaking and yoga on the beach were top memory makers.
Great place! Lovely view of the Choptank. Small beach and large pier. Bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Cornhole and outdoor sports.
Loved our stay. Close to everything.
Betty was a super host.
One of the nicest Vrbo properties I've ever stayed at. Ideal spot for a reunion with my college girlfriends. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for dining in. Waterfront location was peaceful and perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets. The host (Betty) was available and easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
We wanted to have a gathering and cookout with our extended family-20 people half of whom were staying at other houses- one afternoon and evening during our stay but the owners restrict use to the occupants. The kids (all under 10) would have enjoyed playing with their cousins in the yard.

Oh Tim, we really wish you would have asked about a social gathering. We have several groups that stay with us that do host many events during their stay like memorial services, family reunions, surprise birthday parties and such. A simple ask and you could have entertained all the 10 and under cousins in the family, during your stay. I do recall you asked if family could come hang at the house one day while others did the skipjack cruise and we were more than happy to accommodate your request, so we are a little confused by your statement.
Regardless, we hope everyone had a great time and you were able to make many memories with family. Remember to always ask before assuming no is the answer.
Wanted a short runaway from the city with our kids. And we found it.
House was gorgeous, the private bay and water was lovely and perfect for my kids...Betty the owner was very responsive to anything that we needed, so that made it extra special. Thanks for hosting us, see you again...

Sharon and family were wonderful guests. Respectful of our home and very communicative. We loved hosting them and hope they return again soon.
Betty is an amazing host and this house was perfect for our gathering of long-time friends. She always replied right away to any questions and this house is completely adorable, well appointed and cozy.
We stayed at this home for Thanksgiving and it was an incredible experience! The house was perfect, Betty was very communicative and we were all set with everything in the kitchen for our meal! The views at sunrise were unbeatable. Would recommend!
Everything about the property and our stay was wonderful down to every last detail. The listing did not even do it justice, the home was beautiful and everything we might need or encounter was considered. The road was quiet, use of the paddle boards and bikes was a perfect addition. Instructions were all laid out conveniently and Betty was easy and quick to contact the entire stay if needed. Highly recommend.

We had a great time hosting Margaret and her family. We always try to anticipate everyone's needs as well as exceed our guest's expectations during their stay.
We have purchased this 1920s property and have spent the past year updating every aspect of this home to make it the best vacation spot for everyone that comes.
Why they chose this property
We always boated to Cambridge, Md and fell in love with the area and all it has to offer. There is so much history to see, wildlife to observe and many shops and restaurants to try out. The Choptank river offers amazing views and the fishing is amazing.
