House was impeccably clean and welcoming! Kate even had a personalized gift basket for us which included an adorable book for my almost two year old. Would highly recommend this home.
A wonderful, somewhat secluded home for a weekend family retreat. Very clean, well appointed, and space for everyone. Kate, the hostess, was so thoughtful and highly responsive. It all came together to make a truly special extended family weekend.
We loved the spaciousness of this property and the incredible array of extras, from toiletries to water equipment and inside activities. A hidden gem off the beaten path but close enough to what you need.
We had a great time relaxing on the porch, sitting bt the watwr roasting marshmellows, and paddling on the inlet. The house had everything we needed to stay cozy, cook, play games, and rest.Going to crabshack to launch kayaks and enjoy the water was a higjlight. The folks were kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home in the neighborhood! It could get buggy, but the host privided plenty of bug spray and citronella candles. Thankyou!
Beautiful home in a great location. The house is right on the water and great for this wanting to go swimming or kayaking. Great place to watch a sunset. A beautiful property with plenty to do for kids. Kate is an amazing host and was very communicative leading up to the booking which made checking in very easy. Our only regret is that we didn’t get more time to enjoy the area.

So happy you enjoyed your stay! Please come back and make more memories! Happy Summer to you all!🌅🦀
My sincerest apologies. You should have received 5 stars for everything you did! I must not have hit the stars hard enough. You were amazing guests in all areas!

Three generations (11 of us) stayed for several Thanksgiving days. Played cards & games, went for walks & bike rides, cooked & ate meals together. The house and locale was just what we'd hoped: quiet, away from it all, very welcoming, room for all, comfortable and clean. The bay - so close! - was gorgeous even off-season. There were pretty sunsets and crystal-clear stars in dark night sky. Even the rainy day was lovely - view from the cozy indoors can't be beat. Much gratitude for sweet family memories.
Really a gorgeous property in an equally beautiful location. It is a bit remote from Cambridge so you have to drive to get to the town. The advantage is you're out in the country, right next to the water with stunning views. The deck is enormous and perfect for enjoying a drink and relaxing. You do have to contend with mosquitos, but the host was kind enough to have plenty of bug spray available. We were lucky to have wonderful weather and had an amazing sunset over the water.
Kate, the property owner, had excellent communication. If want a large, beautiful house, remote from others in a beautiful setting, I'd highly recommend this one.

Jason- So glad you and your family enjoyed. I know the mosquitoes have been bad this year. We do have the county come and spray but unfortunately with not a cold enough winter and wet season those pesky guys love it! Hope you come back and stay! Thanks for being great guests and for a lovely review!
All my best,
Kate
We came together, 3 generations, to celebrate a birthday The house easily accommodated all of us, our 2 sons with their wives, children (2 each), and ourselves. We had plenty of space to find solitude and to be together.
The extra large and spacious deck and generous living space made being together indoors and outside easy. The house is super well equipped for family visits with kids. Plenty of games and toys for kids of all ages.
Kate was extremely responsive and welcoming. from the beginning she answered all of my questions, and made me feel good about the decision to rent her place.
We definitely recommend this beautiful home with its beautiful views of the bay to all.

Our stay at Kate’s Vrbo was nothing short of exceptional! We booked this home as a base for our family during a race weekend in Cambridge, and it was the perfect setting for us to connect, dine, and relax together. Kate was an outstanding host—responsive, communicative, and attentive from check-in to check-out, ensuring every detail was seamless. The house itself was a dream. The spacious kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, and the large living area was ideal for family gatherings. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable, accommodating everyone with ease. We especially loved the expansive outdoor deck, where we spent evenings enjoying meals and breathtaking sunsets. The waterfront location added a special touch, with Kate thoughtfully providing water equipment and fishing/crabbing gear (though we didn’t have time to use them). While the proximity to the water did attract some bugs, Kate was well-prepared, arranging for a professional sprayer before our arrival and supplying plenty of bug spray and citronella candles to keep them at bay. Every aspect of the home was thoughtfully curated, making our stay both comfortable and memorable.I wholeheartedly recommend Kate’s home for anyone seeking a peaceful, spacious retreat to unwind and spend quality time with loved ones. We can’t wait to return!
