The house is set in a quiet location, surrounded by woods and yet with good roads to Foix, only 20 minutes away.The house is spacious and quirky, and gave us enough space for 10 adults although our youngest son, 24 years old, was left with the “children’s” room which was a bit uncomfortable.Arriving to the house at the hottest time of the year was not the best plan, and although the house offered the benefits of a pool, there were not any fans, or mesh screens on windows and doors to stop the bugs, rather bity ones, getting in and feasting on us.We had enough space to cook, play games, and enjoy time together in the house whilst at times taking outings to visit wonderful places close by. We ended up buying cleaning products and mugs as there weren’t any available. We should have asked for tea towels and cleaning cloths, but although the house owners live on site, we decided to buy the resources we found we needed.On Vrbo the description does not indicate that sheets and towels are provided at extra cost. We only found this out by reading other people’s reviews so we decided to take our own. We enjoyed two weeks in family, surrounded by hills, with the gentle calling of cows, horses across the access lane and chickens running to meet us every time they saw someone out. There are some aspects that could have been better, but we had a great time nonetheless.

Gîte rustique mais vieillissant. Isolation phonique inexistante, beaucoup de poussière, appareils électroménagers défectueux, fenêtre des chambres petites, équipements de cuisine en quantité et qualité insuffisante… Pas de transats, pas de parasol ni de terrasse aménagée accessible depuis la cuisine. Néanmoins literie correcte et tranquillité garantie.

Un petit souci â la reception. ( 2 H d'attente pour acceder au logement ) Penser à mettre une boite â clés. Pour le reste sejour tres agreable

Bonita casa cerca de Foix

Estuvimos cinco días en esta casa y la experiencia fue buena. Los dueños viven en la casa de al lado y nos ayudaron amablemente con aquello que necesitamos. No llevamos sábanas y toallas y nos las proporcionamos al momento. La zona es muy bonita, rodeada de montañas y con unos paisajes preciosos La casa es cómoda, y muy tranquila porque no hay casas alrededor, tal y como se ve en las fotografías. Tiene un futbolín y una pequeña piscina que nos ayudó bastante en los días calurosos. Lo único que recomendaría es que se pusieran mosquiteras pues al estar en el campo se nos colaban algunos bichos indeseados como arañas.

Séjour à Baulou

Vacances en famille 6 adultes et 6 enfants. Le gîte qui a 5 chambres et un grand salon cuisine a permis à chacun d’avoir son espace. L’extérieur a été apprécié par les enfants qui ont fait cabane, balançoire et partie de foot et par les adultes qui ont fait l’apéro! Le gîte est une ferme rénovée, donc rustique. L’emplacement est idéal pour allier balades, rando et aussi visite château de Foix et rivière souterraine ( a faire!!)
