Ideal for those who like cycling, hiking and walking and a short drive from local ski resorts for alpine and cross country skiing. Enjoy the flavour of French life in our lovingly restored home and explore the sights in an area that is outstandingly beautiful, steeped in history and has its own micro-climate. La Maison Famille is available to rent as a 5 bedroom gite or as Chambres D’hote/B&B rooms and sleeps up to 12 people. We also offer evening meals/Table D’hote and can even offer home-made cakes and afternoon tea, picnics and packed lunches. For those with children we offer the use of a wide selection of toys and play equipment, so they are entertained while you relax and sunbathe on our sun terrace, enjoy the shade of our orchard, or have a dip in the above ground pool to cool you off. Activities to suit all ages are available nearby, or simply take in the sights and sounds of the Ariege in the heart of Cathar-country; you can drive to the beach on the Mediterranean Sea within 2 hours, use the local lake, or even go duty-free shopping in Andorra within 90 minutes, with the renowned Spa towns of Ax-les-Thermes and St Lizier less than an hour away. We are only 1 hour 20 mins from both Toulouse and Carcassone Airports.
