About the host
Hosted by Elizabeth Payne
Hi, my family and I live in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. We moved here from the Portland area almost 5 years ago and couldn't be happier calling this beautiful place home. Year-round there are outdoor activities, great dining and shopping, but a wonderful laid-back atmosphere-- Mosier, population 434 is only 5 miles away from Hood River, but 30 more days of sunshine a year! We are a little drier, a little warmer and a little slower paced. But never short of things to do. We hope you can come play in our little slice of heaven :)
Why they chose this property
Right in the middle of everything, but not in the hustle and bustle of Hood River. Quiet, relaxing and rejuvenating! You never need to leave Mosier to get your outdoor activites on, but a short 5 minute drive will take to you excellent shopping and the restaurants of Hood River. 45 minutes to winter sports, gorgeous all year round.
What makes this property unique
A view that won't stop! Everchanging river, clouds and landscape to put you in awe of the gorge-- if you weren't in awe of it already! Breakfast items included, walk to the local grocery or coffee house or pub. Space to store bikes etc... Featuring local products like lavender soaps and lotion, art and craft items.
