5br Log Cabin: Hot Tub, Game Room, Yard, Firepit! Near Fontana, Bryson, and NOC
Welcome to Better Together Lodge — a spacious mountain retreat for families and friends.
Our log cabin is located in the heart of the Smokies. With 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and over 3,400 sq ft across three levels, it’s the perfect base for your next family vacation, reunion, or group getaway.
*Comfortable Bedrooms & Living Spaces Across Three Floors*
-Main Floor-
The heart of the home with soaring ceilings, a warm wood-burning fireplace, and an open-concept living and dining area. The fully stocked kitchen includes pots, pans, dishware for a crowd, and a high chair.
Step directly from the dining area onto the covered back porch, which features two picnic tables, ample seating, a Weber Genesis grill (propane provided), and a covered 5-person hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.
The front porch, accessible from the main entrance, offers rocking chairs and beautiful mountain views — an ideal spot for morning coffee or sunset unwinding.
This level also features the master suite, a comfortable queen bedroom with a Roku TV, direct access to a full bath with a shower/tub combo, and a large walk-in closet that comes in handy if you are staying for Christmas ;)
The main floor also has a dedicated laundry room, with an oversized washing machine for all your muddy adventure gear.
- Bedroom 1: Queen bed + Roku TV (Sleeps 2)
-Upstairs-
A quiet retreat featuring two cozy bedrooms, a peaceful reading nook, a pack 'n play, and a dedicated remote work area equipped with high-speed Verizon internet, a laptop stand, and a monitor that doubles as a Roku TV. You’ll also find two massage chairs — the perfect place to relax after a day on the trails. This level includes a shared full bath with a shower/tub combo.
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed + twin pull-out sofa (Sleeps 3)
- Bedroom 3: Full bed + twin bunk + twin trundle — ideal for kids (Sleeps 4)
-Downstairs-
A spacious lower level designed for fun and relaxation. The game room includes a 4-player classic arcade with dozens of games, a pool table, air hockey, and a queen sleeper sofa. The common area also features a Roku TV, a collection of DVDs, and a dock for a Nintendo Switch.
Closet storage includes board games, children’s toys, and free weights. You’ll also find a shared full bath (shower/tub combo) and direct access to the backyard, with a TRX anchor point just outside the game room.

The lower porch (off the game room) includes a covered outdoor bar, stainless steel cooler, decorative lighting, and an additional picnic table.
The yard itself is a rare find in the Smokies — flat, spacious, and fully enclosed with classic split-rail fencing. Enjoy the hammock, stone fire pit with optional grill top, and plenty of room for corn hole or other backyard games. It’s the perfect space for families, stargazing, or sipping a local craft beer under the stars.

We love sharing Better Together Lodge and hearing the stories guests create here. It’s our family’s happiest place, and we genuinely enjoy hosting. Our passion for "Better Together" is why it's one of the most loved homes on Airbnb.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to help with your planning and hope you choose our home for your adventures!
Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire home, with the exception of a few locked closets used for supply storage.
Self check-in is available 24/7 with convenient keypad access.
Other things to note
We provide a starter supply of essentials, including:
➤ Hand soap
➤ Dish soap
➤ Dishwasher detergent
➤ Laundry detergent
➤ Paper towels & toilet paper
➤ Coffee, cream, and sugar
For longer stays, you may wish to bring additional supplies based on your needs. There’s a Dollar General just 5 minutes away, and an Ingles grocery store 15 minutes away for anything extra.
Our neighborhood includes both full-time residents and part-time residents, so we kindly ask that you respect quiet hours after 10 p.m. Outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum, and parties are not permitted.
Please limit parking to four full-sized vehicles or up to six smaller vehicles. The property is unsuitable for large trailers, RVs, or boats (small trailers are generally OK). While the road is well-maintained, it is narrow. Please drive slowly and do not block the road when parking.
For your security, we have two exterior-only security cameras. These cameras are positioned to protect your privacy while providing protection for when the cabin is unoccupied. They are not actively monitored.
Finally, while we maintain the property with regular pest control, mountain life comes with visitors. You might see the occasional bug, bird, or critter — and yes, ladybugs too. If you know how to get rid of them, let us know ;) It's all part of the charm of staying in the Smokies!

About the host
Hosted by Alex

I'm a husband and a father who works in the technology sector. We live in Florida but are in the Carolinas as often as we can!
Why they chose this property
Owning a cabin was a 'life goal', and we really wanted something in a rural area that was still close to major attractions with plenty to do. We're an active group who enjoys hiking and being on the water. My wife and I had traveled to the region many times through the years, and when our kids were finally old enough we decided it was time to make it happen -- The Smoky Mountains are perfect for us!
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with this cabin instantly. It's got enough bedrooms and space for our family and friends, a wonderful family living area where we can relax by the fire or have big family dinners. The back porch has a peaceful, relaxing view. It's got an *awesome* game room and has the proximity to all the activities we could wish for.
But the big thing for us was the neighborhood itself. It's such a cool community tucked in off the highway. There's a shared valley area and a spring fed lake that's perfect for swimming in the summer, and it's 5 minutes from two great marinas on Fontana Lake. It's hard to find property that has everything, but we really feel like we did!
