The location of this home is PERFECT! Right in the village with access to everything Vail has to offer. Beds were super comfortable and the home provided all we needed and more. I will definitely book this home for our next visit!
The condo was all that it was advertised to be. It was clean and beautiful. Was in a great location to do all the things in Lionhead and surrounding area. It was also well supplied with all the needed necessities. Will stay again.

A MUST stay in Lionshead!!
This is the second time I have stayed at this home with my family and we absolutely love it! The location, fireplace, and washing/dryer machine are my favorite features of this home. We are looking forward to next Winter and thank you so much!!
Condo worked well for our needs and the location was great. The condo does need some updating in the kitchen but overall the condo was very comfortable and cozy. We had a great trip!

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We will be sure to pass your suggestions along to our local operations manager who will work with our homeowner to make necessary upgrades. We look forward to hosting you again!
Cozy property in Lionshead. Short walk to everything. Clean and comfortable but badly in need of a refresh. Has that 1990's vibe, a little brown, a little gloomy. It was very cold when we were there and the heat couldn't keep up, but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall it was fine and met our needs for a long weekend skiing in Vail.

Hi Robert. Thank you for your review and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that you have experienced during your stay. Our local team strives to provide every one of our guests with the best vacation possible and we are so sorry that there are some lapses during your stay. We appreciate our guests' preferences as a means to improve and we have forwarded your comments along to our property management to consider in the future. We hope to host you again soon.
This is our second stay in the unit. We had an excellent experience both times. Our only complaint was that we have to move the car during our stay to the parking deck overnight ($60/night) for the ail 21 parking lot to be scraped. This happened both times and is a little hassle. But all in all excellent place. Highly recommend

perfect location and great cozy place to stay
So Lionshead is not Vail Village, but its an easy walk/bus ride to get there. That being said, you have everything you need just steps from this place...including the gondola. The service was wonderful and i could communicate via text in real-time. The kitchen is tiny but we knew that going into it. All of my group absolutely loved the place...and the dual balconies too. Def. recommend this rental...very happy
Oh...and ski rental place is in the same building!...so easy!!
Pleasant and efficient with contactless check in.
Spacious condo with nice layout of bedrooms plus loft. Super close and convenient to Lionshead Gondola.
A few relatively minor criticisms...
Common areas cleaned well but a few areas missed. Thick dust on ceiling fan blades, lower balcony surface with would chips (someone before us chopping wood?).
Also, needs better cleaning/maintenance supplies. For instance, they ask guests to empty trash but do not have extra trash bags. They ask to haul out recyclables but no dedicated recycling bin. Should I pack it in my luggage? Just not realistic.
Overall a nice place and would recommend.

Warning! Don’t stay here, not customer friendly!
We asked to have a late checkout so we could ski, shower and catch our flight out of Denver on the last day of our ski trip. Seemed like this would be a simple request; people often do ask this when no one is checking in after them; owner doesn’t have pressure to turn unit around. Doesn’t cost the owner anything. It was the end of the season at Vail. No one was in the entire building. Very reasonable request right? We’ll not for management at Vacasa. Turned into frustrating phone call and ridiculous conversation with a person and then their supervisor who were not at all interested in customer satisfaction or how their demeaning and insulting canned script would make their customer feel. You know the conversation? The one where they don’t answer your questions, but instead keep repeating their rules that they have no legitimate reason for, and they take no responsibility to help solve your problem with their business.
I was given the total runaround, waste of my time trying to reason with some call center employee who was obviously trained with lines on how this is not their decision, and he is only telling me what their corporate rules are. I suggested he reach out to the unit owner and pass along my request…ah no, he can’t do that.
Bottom line: they would allow 2pm late checkout (4 hours) for $90, but only if I let them know by 4pm the night before. Why charge me? Why 4pm deadline? They had no reason except that’s their rule!
Uhm…I checked in at 8:30pm and wasn’t given any $ credit for the 4 1/2 hours I wasn't there for 4pm checkin….I spent 45 minutes on phone with agent and their supervisor and wasn’t given any $ for my time.
I own a rental property and always accommodate an early checkin or late checkout request if I don’t have bookings on either end. I never charge for early checkin or late checkout requests. It costs me nothing and is much appreciated by the customer; builds goodwill and makes their stay more enjoyable.
My memory of this rental is now overshadowed by how unreasonable Vacasa was and it leaves a negative feel for the whole vacation. I will never rent another property that Vacasa manages and would highly recommend you do not rent from them as well.
They eventually called me back and let us checkout late, but only with a fee…too little too late to make any customer feel satisfied; only feel like we were burned!

Hi Katie. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Please know that our policies and rules exist to ensure that everything runs smoothly for our guests, homeowners, and employees alike. We do offer late check-out when it is available. Each guest is sent an email requesting that if they would like a late check out to please let us know prior to 4 PM their last night. This allows for our housekeeping staff schedules to be adjusted ahead of time and not last minute. We do our best to accommodate, however it is not always possible.. We appreciate your patience and understanding and we hope that you'll give us another opportunity to host you in the future.

Great Potential Unfulfilled
This condo had great potential but we were very disappointed. The location was excellent - close to the town shuttle and only a 5 minute walk to the ski lifts. But it was NOT a ski in-ski out property as advertised. And the building was a little difficult to find because the name is Vail 21 - NOT Vail Pointe. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the hot tub. There is a hot tub on the premises, but it has been out of order for some time, and the management could not provide an alternative. We use the hot tub every day in the winter, and it is almost required for apres ski purposes. We were not informed of this when we booked the condo, even though we discovered the hot tub has not been working for quite some time. When we called the management office we were informed that they could relocate us to another condo, but it was out of town at an unreasonable distance from the ski resort. They told us they are not responsible for the hot tub and they could not provide us with information about when it would be repaired. There were several other significant problems with the condo. There are TV's in 2 bedrooms, but we could not connect to cable TV service. One was repaired while we were there, but the other was not. Streaming services like Netflix were not available. And the TV in the living room is small and outdated. Several electrical outlets were out of order, and we had problems finding enough power outlets for our devices. There were 3 humidifiers - imperative for the mountains in winter - and none of them worked. They did replace 2 of them, but they were quite small and inefficient. We had to request light bulbs - several were burned out. And there was no light by the elevator at the end of a dark hallway. There was used soap in one bathroom, and only one tissue box for the condo (already opened and used). The condo has a nice layout with the loft upstairs - but the kitchen is tiny with room for only one person at a time. The entire condo is dated and in need of refurbishing. Several of the window blinds were broken, and there had been some kind of leak on the balcony - where there is now unsightly ice formations and an old trash can sitting in the middle to presumably collect the water. This condo has good potential, but it needs a lot of work. And the management company needs to take more responsibility for the problems.

Fantastic location
Amazing location. So easy to walk by the rental store to grab our skis on the way to the gondola. Also, from the window we could watch for the Intown bus, and when it arrived, we could run down in time to make it.

Great location
Easy walk to lift, shops and restaurants. Plenty of sleeping areas and bathrooms.
The location was exceptional. Unfortunately toilet overflowed, the thermostat was hanging off the wall, the TV only got one channel as the remotes were broken. In addition a nail was sticking up through the carpet and went into my heel.
We left early buy enjoyed Vail tremendously

Vail21 unit 503
Good location.
Vacasa made sure we had enough towels, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels. Ben even brought me a second hairdryer since the first was wall mounted in master bath, so tough to share.
This is an Old unit. One electrical outlet in kitchen didn't work . Medicine cabinet in downstairs bath wouldn't close. Both issues were addressed while were there ( which meant workmen in and out. All work guys were very pleasant.)
.Reported broken toaster.. Could not use it all week.
Vacasa is a good company with great communication. The units are just very old. Plus there is only one luggage cart for the whole place, which meant multiple trips with all our ski gear.
Only 2 minute walk to lifts, plenty of sleeping space, no in-person checkin (such a pain with some places I have stayed at where checkin often in a different building), outdoor parking space well labeled and nearby. Quiet end hall location. No problems at all during our visit.
This place is sooo close to the lift, less than a 2 minute walk. It’s great for families traveling with kids because there are 2 master bedrooms on the first floor and a loft with 2 double beds up top. A washer/dryer are very helpful. The jacuzzi is super hot and we were the only people I ever saw in it.
Just FYI, Vacasa sent the wrong name for the property so we spent an hour driving around looking for the place (it’s NOT called Vail Point. It’s called Vail 21). The door code was also not activated when we arrived and took two calls to VRBO and lots of waiting before it worked and we were able to get in.
The place is decent but looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 70s. Great budget option for ski in/ski out

Hi, Heather! We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the property. The listing title has been updated. The owner has also installed new carpet in the living room. Thank you!
The location can’t be beat. I was left wondering a bit about cleanliness. There was a full load of dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived and hairs in our bathtub. Would expect better, especially when traveling during CO-VID. But overall would recommend, however a quality check on the housekeeping would be beneficial for future guests.
