Very nice house, very clean well stocked kitchen, everything you would need. Very peaceful setting. It is a bit far from the popular door county towns, Sister Bay, etc. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. A big plus you can bring your fur baby along!
Very clean and cozy. We spent a lot of time outside on the beautiful deck enjoying the peace and quiet. Having bonfires in the yard was great as well. Make sure to bring fire wood! The sunsets just down the road are amazing! A great place to be able to bring your pet and get away from the noises of life.
Our stay was amazing . The house is beautiful and laid out nicely. Everything we needed or wanted was available. We are excited to return next summer to this home and location worked so well!
Exactly as described. Very happy with our stay. Lovely wooded neighborhood. Quiet for enjoying the deck and taking walks. Nice short walk to see the lake. No beach access there but we enjoyed it regardless. So much to do in the area! Amazing time spent!
Exactly as pictured/described-such a beautiful, quiet property! The host was always fast to respond leading up to the stay. The house is nicely decorated and the kitchen fully stocked with everything needed to cook. We would love to come back in other seasons as well to enjoy this tranquil and charming spot!
We loved staying here! Was so cute and simple- perfect for our girls trip. Kitchen had plenty of utensils and dishes for us to cook a few meals there. Beds were comfy with plenty of extra pillows and blankets.
Excellent value for money and a wonderful home away from home. Tom had clear instructions that he sent to us before our arrival so we had zero problems. The home was immaculate, with a master bedroom on the first floor and 2 spacious queen size beds in the second floor loft--everything with fresh linens and comforters. A beautiful great room and dining room combo even had seasonal fall decorations upon our arrival. Everything was comfortable and welcoming; it is obvious that this property has owners who make hospitality and gracious living a reality. The kitchen appliances seemed brand new and it was well stocked with pots/pans/cutlery/dishes--everything we needed to make meals easily. The bathroom was on the main floor with a large shower/tub combo (the commode even had a bidet!) There was a wonderful wrap-around deck with plenty of seating space, a huge grill (which we did not use), and a very nice firepit in the yard that we did use one evening. We will definitely be back for a return visit!Easy and quick access to Sturgeon Bay for Third Avenue shopping and excellent dining choices; we also took advantage of a visit to Potawatomi State Park which was enjoyable.
The house is absolutely wonderful! Very clean, comfortable beds, lots of extra blankets, and fully stocked. The property was gorgeous, and the dogs loved running around. Host had very clear and reasonable instructions for rules and check in and out. Pet fees were reasonable, no complaints from us! Will definitely be back!
We spent 3 nights in this lovely home and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The home was really cute, clean and perfect for our family of 4 (plus our dog)! We were close enough to all the activities in door county, but had a feeling of privacy and seclusion when we got back to the home. There were lots of games to play when it was rainy. My kids really enjoyed sleeping in the loft! We would definitely stay here again.
Everything from booking to checking out was easy and professional. The house was exactly as described and thoroughly cleaned and equipped with everything you need. The owners were available and very responsive to answer any questions. I would strongly recommend this house for anyone who wants the ease of exploring Door County yet wants to recharge away from all the hustle and bustle. Our only negative is wishing we could have stayed longer ... our brief stay was consumed with a wedding to attend, but plan to be back in the future! PS - bonus we were blessed to watch one of the sunsets over the bay at the "old" launch access right down the road.
Place was as advertised and had everything anyone would need. It was close enough to all the places to check out but away from all the hustle and bustle
