Welcome to Heaven Can Wait Lodge—an unrivaled, one-of-a-kind private retreat located 30 minutes from the charming town of Leavenworth and 35 minutes from Stevens Pass. Overlooking the Wenatchee River, this waterfront property spans 12 acres of pristine forests, fields, and Riverside beaches, creating an extraordinary setting for your getaway.
Please note there is no added cleaning fee, cleaning is inclusive in our nightly rate.

This spacious 4500 sf home is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, making it perfect for families or a close-knit group of friends. Parking is a breeze with our ample 7-car parking.
With its well-equipped kitchen boasting three refrigerators, two dishwashers, and an expansive dining table, the Lodge is a culinary haven for creating memorable family meals.

Each season at the Lodge offers its own unique appeal. Do as much or as little as your heart desires. Relax in our soothing hot tub or cedar-lined sauna and fall asleep under a down comforter that promises a night of quiet solitude. For movie nights or game days, our media room features a 70-inch screen to elevate your viewing experience. During the colder snowy months December-March, The Lodge has two glass-fronted Lopi wood stoves for a cozy atmosphere while watching snow fall outside. Stay connected and entertained with high-speed WiFi, a pool table, and a foosball table.

In the summer, (heated mid May- mid September; closed for winter Oct-April) enjoy the heated swimming pool, tennis court with pickleball lines and basketball hoops, an outdoor chess set, and a children's sand play area. Ample lawn space for outdoor games and a private trail to the confluence of the Wenatchee and Chiwawa Rivers make for endless adventure and relaxation.

Local activities abound, from golfing and rafting to hiking, skiing, and shopping in Leavenworth. Whether staying on the property or exploring the surroundings, you're sure to create unforgettable experiences and cherished memories.

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Please do not leave any dirty dishes in sinks, clean dishes on drying rack is ok, start a dishwasher with last dishes as leaving if needed.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Signed Rental Agreement and completed Guest Registry required to be returned to our office prior to receiving access information for the home.

No more than 12 people onsite at any time per County regulations. Includes overnight and any possible day guests. No events or groups over 12 people.

Beautiful home on the river! It was an awesome place for our family gathering! Enjoyed not only the house but the property has a lot to offer with the deck/patio, pool, sport court, walking trail. Spent the weekend and didn't feel the need to leave for more activities. Lots of amenities. If they don't have it in the house, you probably don't need it! Will definitely return!

Shannon’s home is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It was even better than we imagined! There’s everything you could possibly need, the space was immaculate and comfortable and communicating with Shannon was flawless. We had trouble getting to her property due to pass conditions and she was prompt with communicating with us and was extremely accommodating to our family to make sure our stay was nothing short of amazing. This property was fantastic! We do an annual couples’ trip without our kids, and this was a great place to do it. The kitchen is enormous, incredibly well-stocked (loved all the labels), and has THREE fridges, which we deeply appreciated. The pool was warm, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and welcoming. The view from the deck of the river and the mountains was beautiful and we spent hours out there reading or talking. It’s about 30 minutes into Leavenworth, so plan accordingly, but the trade-off is that it was blissfully quiet except for all the birds, which we enjoyed. Shannon communicated promptly about the broken hot tub for our visit by both phone call and email, and preemptively refunded us part of the cost for the inconvenience. The only warning about anything (and this is out of the owners control) is the mosquitoes are no joke! They start showing up an hour before sunset, so get inside as soon as you see them, they’re brutal.

We are so pleased your group enjoyed the long holiday weekend at HCW! Thank you for your understanding and good humor about the hot tub- the new pump arrived today and the repair was completed today as well (May 26th, 2026) so the hot tub is good to go once again, we wish we could have received the part and achieved the fix prior to your stay. The mosquitoes are out early this year! Usually they peak nearer to late June/early July ... they are one of natures unfortunate elements for sure ... they ease off as things get hotter and drier in later July/ August but even so can be present in the evening. We leave some citronella candles and mosquito coils w holders in the candle cabinet in the kitchen for guest use outdoors; in spring and early summer your preferred bug spray is an important item to bring along- I am glad they feed the birds but that is the only nice thing I can say about mosquitoes! We hope you will think of the Lodge again in the future for another stay- the Lodge is beautiful in all seasons (and most do not have mosquitos :) ).

HCW was the perfect place for our group of 11 to stay for a long ski weekend. Close to the trails, spacious enough to accommodate a large group. We cooked most of our meals - the kitchen had everything we needed including two dishwashers and an endless supply of dishes so we never ran out. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplaces inside and out, and the river view. Great communication with the host with recommendations and information about the surrounding areas. Will definitely come back next year.

The lodge exceed our expectations! It was absolutely stunning and the views were amazing! It was extremely clean even decorated for the holidays! The owner was absolutely wonderful! With unpredictable weather around the time of our stay, she kept us updated and provided an alternative route to get there due to flooding on the pass we were going to be taking. Heaven Can Wait Lodge is a beautiful space with more activities than can be done in a single stay - whether it's the aquatic pool, dry sauna & hot tub; or pickle ball, foosball & billiards. The entire house was clean & comfortable. Our group especially appreciated the three refrigerators and well-appointed kitchen. It was a wonderful location to celebrate a birthday with close friends.

My friends and I loved our stay here! There were so many activities to do on the property. The only comment I would have is there is no AC, but they supplied lots of fans, we were by the water most of the time, and it cooled down at night so that wasn't a big deal for us.

Nice quiet retreat

This house is perfect. Away from neighbors every detail is perfectly thought out. It was the relaxing get away that my group of 12 adults needed. Every bed was comfortable, plenty of space to spread out, and lots of room around the kitchen table.
