About this property

Main house and detached Cabin

Manor and the Cabin are two of the four homes on Nutty Brown Retreat. Enjoy coffee in either peaceful fenced yard, watch the sunset and gaze at the stars. Plenty of deer, roadrunner, foxes, occasional turkey and coyote. Nutty Brown cabin is really close to so many wineries, distilleries, the original world famous Salt Lick, and the new Belterra Village shopping and restaurants. This property and all of the homes normally rent as one unit for large family gatherings but due to Covid we are making the individual homes available for a short time.

Family Gathering

My family was in town for a wedding. Manor and cabin were close to venue. Both houses were clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. Easy access to groceries and nearby restaurants, but home itself was secluded in a cozy setting. Would stay here again.

This was the perfect place to have family and friends stay the weekend of our daughter's wedding. Close to our home and the wedding venue made it easy to share time together. Having HEB close was another plus. Thank you!

Comfortable Getaway

We were hosting out of town guests for our daughter's wedding. The property is located close to major travel routes so it was easy to access shops and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center without any trouble. The outdoor space was great for relaxing and playing games. Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Great stay!

The property provided us everything that we needed. The hot tub was not working which was a bummer. We decided on this property because of this specific amenity but unfortunately we were not able to utilize it. The only other con is the smell of the water. Due to the usage of well water, there is an odor that resembles rotten eggs. Although the water was safe to use, the smell was a bit disturbing. Outside of those issues, the house is extremely comfortable, very nice and clean with plenty of space to accommodate a large group. We brought our pups and they enjoyed their time as well. Plenty of space to run around including fenced in areas. Overall, a very great stay and would consider booking again. The fire pit was an added bonus and the host was kind enough to make sure that we were stocked up. We decided to replace the wood that we used so the next guest would receive the same experience. Thank you, Larry!

Small cabin

I came to Austin to visit my daughter found this sweet cabin near her. The owners were very receptive and had easy communication with. The cabin was perfect and had more than the necessary items one needs. I wanted for nothing! Great TV, internet connection, great back yard privacy seating area! Loved that! Fresh flowers by the door loved that too! I would rent again!
