Quiet mini-splits for both heat and A/C. Everything was clean. Location was pleasantly quiet, with a nice sunny waterfront lawn and a sandy entrance to the water. Big windows let in a lot of light. We also had availability of a canoe and kayak. And our dog was welcome. Plus, the host took us on a tour of the lake! The only drawback was the bed was on the small side, in a tight space, but I’m sure that helps keep the price down.
Perfect for a single person or couple. Had a very nice stay!

Did not go as husband had heart attack and has been in hospital. Could not get refund from owner as it was too close to date. Not even partially refunded.
We loved our stay! The property is beautiful, and you can’t beat waking up to the view of the lake right outside your window. Would absolutely book again!
We loved the house and location on the pond! There were endless outdoor activities and the grill was great. It was a scavenger hunt to find a few items, but we were able to find them. I would recommend adding extra toilet paper as one roll was almost not enough. The dishes were dirty and it didn’t look like it was cleaned with much detail at all. Besides dirty dishes and a few missed spots cleaning, this was a great place to stay and would recommend to anyone!
The grounds were beautiful and well-kept, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the house was a major letdown. The shower had a strong sewer smell and visible mold. The air conditioning unit also had visible mold spots, and when turned on, it gave off a musty odor. The couch had noticeable stains, and there was a thick layer of dust underneath it. I’ve attached photos of all of these issues. Also, the bed was very firm — which may be great if that’s your preference — but we personally found it uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well. With a thorough deep cleaning and a few updates, this property could be much more enjoyable and comfortable.
Katy touched base before our arrival and was easy to get ahold of. The place had all you need for an enjoyable family of 4 getaway. Kennebunkport and Portland are a quick drive away.
We thought that this would be a nice place from the listing, but it exceeded expectations. Nicely redesigned and renovated small house for a couple with all the right touches. Beautiful pond steps from the door for canoeing, kayaking or fishing. Great just to hang out but also a good jumping off point for Biddeford, Saco, Portland and other coastal towns. We have rented places around the world and this is up there with the best.
The location and accessibility to the water was great! The kids had a blast on the kayaks while we watched from the canoe. The John boat was perfect for fishing and picture taking. The set up of the cabin is relaxing and quite spacious for a family of four. It is clean, thoughtfully loaded with games, and featured gorgeous views. The fire pit was a perfect place for s’mores and family time.

Property overlooks a beautiful lake. Opposite shore is forested and leaves were in autumn colors. Loons were heard calling across the lake. Comfortable furniture and good basic kitchen supplies made stay easy. Bathroom is well appointed with modern shower. Bedroom is a little small but comfortable. Good wifi, and convenient desk for working.
From booking, to checking in, and checking out everything was simple as could be.
The cottage itself was great, better than expected actually, bigger too as far as the common areas go. The view was spectacular. I was literally taking pictures at 5am one morning while the fog was rolling out, if I could upload I would.
Keep in mind, roads are a bit rough - not an issue for me as I lived on Lake Arrowhead for many years.
I'd rent again and definitely recommend to others.
This camp was amazing to stay at. It has everything you would expect to have in a Maine camp. It has a very cozy feeling which makes you feel like you are at home. It is very clean and well organized. This is camp is an absolute must stay if you want that cozy lake feeling!
We truly enjoyed our stay! A great, cozy place to unplug and relax. Kayaking the pond was awesome!
Great experience!

The Views are amazing and the pond is a special place- wake up to the bird chirping and it is not unusual to spy eagles. While you are tucked away you are a close drive to Kennebunk shops and beaches as well as trial and other adventures.
