Nestled in Acton, Maine on Mousam Lake, this terrific Maine Camp/Cabin offers a comfortable retreat for guests seeking a relaxing getaway. Enjoy the screened-in porch or the deck just feet from the lake to enjoy quiet time or relax with your morning coffee as you watch the loons fish around the lake. With three bedrooms featuring two queen beds and 4 twin beds, there’s plenty of space for family or friends. The two bathrooms includes a spacious shower, plus there is an outdoor shower. Bright and inviting, the east facing home provides amazing sunrises and a cozy atmosphere with an outdoor fire pit and private dock that can accommodate your boat. Floating tubes and 2 SUPs, with life vests, are included for guest use. Plus an 8x8 floating raft to soak up the rays or for the kids to jump off of. An updated kitchen includes a dishwasher and all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, etc. Guests also have a gas grill available for use. Located near the Acton fairgrounds you are minutes from 2 great restaurants, ice cream, mini-golf and a 20 minute drive from grocery and other shopping.

**Please note: The property is down hill from the parking area, there are 33 stairs with a winding walkway to access. The property is only accessed via stairs, there is no handicap access.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Please lock the storm door on porch place wood stopper in sliding door rail.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Please respect the neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am.

Our boat is on the mooring out front. Please stay off of the boat. Boat is not for guest use.

Property as described. Plenty of room for three couples, which is what we were or a couple couples and four kids. Great spot on the lake the house deck dock are very nice. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessities needed to prepare meals.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time here. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was peaceful, and it was the perfect place to unwind. Communication with the host was excellent—they were friendly, responsive, and made check-in and check-out easy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to vacation! It was great to be able to walk out and have the lake right at your toes!

Super cozy and cheerful cottage right on the water. You can hear the lapping of the water from the deck and the views are spectacular. The kitchen is perfectly stocked and clean. All the beds were comfy and there was lots of space for everyone. The steps down to the cottage are very steep as are the steps down to the water. We were a family with teenagers so it was no problem for us but it might be hard to have toddlers there or elderly guests. The water is beautiful to swim in and we enjoyed the SUPs. This is a great place!

This house worked great for our two families for the week! The location was awesome…right on the lake & parents could sit on the deck or dock and keep an eye on the kids in the water. The lake was clean and great to swim in with a raft for the kids to play on. The house is rustic but has everything you need. The upstairs bedrooms get warm but there are fans all over the house. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and plates/bowls/utensils as well as a regular & keurig coffee maker, microwave, and toaster. The pictures are accurate to the property so you can have a good idea from those.
