A fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, gas stove & wood-burning stove, and electric heat are available for your convenience. The cabin sits on 2 wooded acres at 9,000 ft elevation surrounded by aspens, spruce, and fir trees, that's home to mule deer, elk, fox, chipmunks, and an assortment of birds. This cabin is located in a small settlement named Lost Valley of the San Juans. There are few friendly neighbors, but they are spread out among the valley. This was exactly what we were looking for. A wonderfully cozy cabin in the woods. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The outdoor space is truly as private and secluded as shown! Our family and pup enjoyed ourselves greatly.
The Cozy Cabin was very cozy n comfortable. The view of the ponds with ducks n a family of Canadian geese was awesome. Watched elk come n go on the meadow across from the cabin. Listened to turkeys goblin through out the day. The directions the host gave me on getting to the cabin were fantastic. My dogs n I throughly enjoy our stay. Hope to go back sometime.
Loved the location and peacefulness of the house. Drive up was gorgeous and the property itself was wonderful and just what we were looking for! We loved walking around the property and area. Will stay again if in the area.
A great, comfortable, relaxing, beautiful cabin in the mountains and trees. Great to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee and watch the hummingbirds and chipmunks. The quiet road around the lake makes for a nice stroll with stunning views of the mountains nearby.
We loved our stay at this great little cabin. It was just perfect; exactly what we were hoping for. Lots of nice considerate touches to make our stay easier, quiet, and peaceful. We’ve already shared this little gem with friends and hope to make it back there ourselves.
We loved the peace and quiet. We made friends with the squirrel on the backporch. We named him Taz and had him on our lap by the end of our stay, so bring some Cheez-Its.
This was "base camp" for us while we explored the area. Didn't spend a lot of time there during the day, but the evenings were awesome. Had a small fire and cocktails on the back deck. So relaxing!
