Launch your next beach vacation from this spacious three-story 5-bedroom, 4-bath Bethany West! The first floor features a full bath and media room, while the second floor is home to the main living area, primary suite, two additional bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, deck and screened porch. The third floor offers two more bedrooms and a loft area with pool table. There's also a nearby in-season trolley stop to downtown Bethany Beach (fee required). Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. 4 TVs (all flat-screens), 4 Blu-rays, pool table, outside shower, gas grill, Wifi.
Things to Know Recreation passes for use of the pool and tennis courts are $30 per person per week or $10 per person per day, as of 2024, and may be purchased at the Clubhouse near the back pool. Guests will be required to provide a copy of their lease at the Clubhouse when purchasing recreation passes. Recreation pass fees are subject to change at any time by the community Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

This house was perfect for our family. More than enough space to stretch out and great location to the beach and boardwalk while being far enough off the main roads to be quiet.
I was a little nervous with the reviews on this house, but we found it to be clean with a great layout and in a great location. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Great house with plenty of space, furniture and appliances were pretty old
Lots of space, four adults and four teenagers fit just right. Nice rear enclosed deck. Near a stop for the free Bethany trolley.
Good value for to cost. It was clean, but some rugs/carpets have some stains. The amenities were great with 2 pools, tennis/pickleball courts, and a resident parking pass.The management company responded quickly with answers when I had questions…bth before and during our stay.

Great Beach location for large groups
We loved the space this house provided, with a wonderful screened in porch. It was very close to the beach, a bike ride or car ride away with residential parking included. There was a logistical issue with checkout where the house locked early, causing some of our belongings to be left behind. Otherwise, a very nice stay.

The property was very spacious and great for large groups! The screened in porch was very nice. Only two downsides - the furniture was a little bit stained and dated. And, they locked us out of the property over a half hour early, with some of our belongings still inside. Otherwise we had a very nice stay and enjoyed being close to the beach.

Great place for the cost
We looked at a number of possible rentals for our first multi generational vacation. To keep costs down, we expanded our search and found this house. We found great value for the price. Having 2 community pools and a resident parking pass for Bethany Beach were great value adds. The space always laid out nicely and there was very ample storage. The kitchen was very well stocked.
The only drawbacks were minor. At this price point, we did not expect perfection. Some rugs/carpets had stains. The deck could use a good power washing. Other than that, the house was great.
House was disgusting furniture was all stained up so was carpet had to put e quilt on the floor for my granddaughter to sit and play. Had to cover the furniture before you could sit on it.The decks were filthy and full of spiders no decent cookware. Would not recommend it they charge you a fortune for cleaning fee but i spent hours cleaning left it cleaner then we found it

We love Bethany!
This property has a good location and great space for a large family(group) of 10. The inside housekeeping was good but the property maintenance is lacking. The whole driveway was covered in leaves that we raked out of the way. The grill is not in working condition. The gutters need cleaned out they are clogged. The outdoor shower is not in working condition. Overall we would stay again because we loved the layout of the house for our family.

The property had everything we needed for the weekend . The location was ideal for us as we were performing at the Bethany Beach Pavilion. The accomodations were comfortable and any questions and concerns were addressed quickly .

There was enough rooms and bathrooms everyone. It has all the kitchen supplies to be able to cook
Enough parking for our three vehicles
Disappointed that the grill didn’t work, the carpets had many stains in most of the rooms, there was some mold in the
showers , had to go and buy a coffee pot for the coffee maker since the pot that was there was had a cracked bottom
Had issue with the swimming pool( kids looked forward to going swimming and we ended up taking them to Ocean city water park) told by resident that lives in this community there hasn’t been a clubhouse to be able to buy passes to going swimming in years, they get theirs when they do their permits for the year ( called about this and by the end of week told pool is closed - very upsetting)
Front yard was full of leaves that were not racked up so ended up with dirty shoes and having leaves sticking to shoes to end up in house
Not enough washcloths
Only one tv able to get most channels, others only got a few channels -tv in living room is too small
Refrigerator- the sides holders are broken off -
Ice didn’t dispenser was broken - had to get ice out of freezer by hand or small cup

Rented for 4 days Guy's Weekend
The house is large, has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Screened-in porch was nice to have. Parking for at least 4-5 cars. Kitchen is equipped with the essentials. Gas grill needs to be replaced but it functioned. Pool table was a nice distraction. This is 2nd time we rented the house, it was for a guy's getaway for 5 old high school friends in our mid sixties. If you expect absolute perfection you might want to remember you are only renting the place - you're not buying it! The house was more than adequate for us old guys! I would rent the house again.

The house was nice. It was alittle bit dirty and there were alot of spiders and ants. A few things were broken when we got there as well. Main toilet didn't flush bc a piece was broken. One of the bed frames were broken. A hand towel holder was broken and a curtain rod was broken. The back screened in porch didn't lock correctly. If things were updated we would consider renting again.

All the previous reviews and complaints are still issues. This rental company or owner does not care because the issues have yet to be fixed. The house is disgusting and out dated. All surfaces were stained, carpet, couches, chairs, anything with cloth. We all wore slides/crocs inside the house at all time and in the shower. Dishwasher has mold in it. Pots and pans need to be updated, current ones can’t be used. The ice maker doesn’t work. The grill isn’t usable. Two of the TVs we couldn’t get to work. No parking pass. Only the master bedroom has a tv. The size of the home is great and the WiFi worked but we stayed out as much as we could. I did advise this to Vacasa before posting here and they apologized as if they weren’t already aware of the condition.

Other comments online from months ago were correct and felt that most were easy fixes and expected that corrections would have been made by the end of July.
Linens and Towels were included. Max Occupancyv10 and only 8 towels given, and several beds were missing the top sheet. Moved in on Sat took till wed to have linens delivered.
Part of rental was to have a parking pass. Called 7 times over 4 days and never saw the parking pass that I paid for.
Kitchen needs to be supplied better. Occupancy 10 only 7 dinner knives and forks. Only a gridle no fry pan. So, if you want eggs bring your own pan!
Several family members were coughing by the 3rd day which cleared up once we left. One can easily see dirty vents. This property needs a deep cleaning which was also posted on previous reviews and again nothing has been done.
Calling Vacasa was useless. 7 phone calls total over 4 days and their system is a service center located in Oregon. Each time I called they said they were opening a ticket. Wow.
I sent lengthy email with my complaints, and it has been several weeks and no follow up. No surprise there.
Stay away is my best advice.

Our stay at 526 Doral Rd, Bethany Beach, DE.
The size of the home. Following is what we didn't love.
Our stay was disappointing for the following reasons:
1. Could not get into the unit until 4:00, normal check in time. Cleaners were still cleaning and didn't leave until 4:30! They didn't arrive until 3:00 PM and to clean a large 5 bedroom in 90 minutes is telling. It was very obvious that the 90 minutes wasn't enough time to clean 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, kitchen, laundry room, screened porch area, etc. My wife spent hours cleaning this house.
2. All carpets are stained and nasty looking.
3. All table surfaces, including the coffee table and end tables, were dirty.
A brown looking matter found on the shower curtain in the basement bathroom. That bathroom remained unused by my family for the entire week.
4. The return vents were filthy.
5. Furniture throughout the house is stained and in very poor condition.
6. Kitchen pantry had old food left in it. Nasty. If it belongs to the owner it should be locked in the owners closet. If a tenant were to eat some of this food and it was bad, who would be responsible?
7. Cooking items were in poor shape. There was no usable frying pan. We had to call for one which was delivered the next day.
8. Downstairs couch and carpets are disgusting. There was also a bad smell in the basement area. No one wanted to go down there.
9. Dishwasher had mold and is not installed correctly. Tilts forward when opened!
10. There was a leak under the sink that resulted in water on the kitchen floor resulting in a very slippery floor until we discovered where the leak was coming from and mopped up the floor. We were unable to use the sink or the dishwasher until a plumber arrived the next day. Disappointed this wasn't treated as an emergency call with a more prompt fix.
11. Washer and dryer were disgusting. Had to be cleaned and cloroxed before they could be used.
12. We had to wash blankets as they were stained and nasty.
I had to spend a great deal of my time cleaning so I could feel like my grandchildren and family had a safe environment. VACASA did reimburse us the cost of the cleaning fee which we appreciate. Would have much preferred a clean house upon arrival on time and not spend many of my vacation hours cleaning the house. I did discuss my concerns with a VACASA rep who came to the house. He was aware of my concerns and problem areas and indicated that they were already aware of all these issues!
This house has great potential but it needs a major overhaul. Lots of upgrading, repairs and deep cleaning. This was our first experience with VACASA and will probably be our last. In the check in email from VACASA it was indicated that a pool pass for the week was $20 per person per week or $6 per day per person. Upon arrival at the pool we were informed by the woman at the desk that the fees were increased 3 years ago!!! to $30 and $10 and that VACASA needed to update their welcome check in email.
There was supposed to be a parking pass "hanging on the coat rack by the front door on the 1st floor." Not there. One had to be delivered the next day and we had to pay to park on day one.
All these "little" things added up to a very frustrating stay. There is no direct local phone number to the VACASA office. You have to send a text and hope someone calls you back in a timely manner. On the day of departure I was told to return the parking pass to the VACASA office after we left the unit. I also had an email that said to leave it in the unit! I decided to return the parking pass in person not being very confident that if we left it in the unit it would be found! Great place but in need of upkeep
Loved this home and have booked in for multiple years, but this year was the first time we had issues with the condition of the home. The dishwasher does not work (it's moldy, smells and is not secured), some of the kitchen items like the cutting board have mold; the white outdoor patio cushions are moldy; and the sheets in the upstairs bedroom were stained. We love this spot, but may look elsewhere for future trips.

Just finished a full 7 day stay at 526 Doral. The property easily accommodated my family of 10. The property was properly prepared prior to our arrival with clean towels and bedding for each room. There was plenty of space inside and out for everyone to move around freely without being on top of one another.
I’d love to give this rental a 5 star rating but there were a couple of things that stood out which prevents me from doing so. Some of the furniture could use a serious deep cleaning. In the living room, the sofa and carpet had stains. Outside, the patio furniture was heavily stained. Though it didn’t prevent us from using it, it was definitely an eye sore.
Back in the living room area, the main television is too small for such a large entertainment space. Also, there was what seemed to be a surround sound system in the living room with speakers also in the kitchen area. The system didn’t work at all. Short of disassembling everything ourselves and reconnecting the wires, we had to rely on the television itself for sound.
Another thing that stood out was that there was not a television in each bedroom. While this may be a personal preference to some, I don’t think it would hurt to have a tv in each bedroom in such a large house.
Despite the above mentioned eye sores and recommended upgrades 526 Doral is still a great rental. The proximity to the beach and Ocean City makes it a great family friendly rental experience. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking to visit the Bethany or Rehoboth Beach area while also being minutes from the attractions in OC.

There were issues with the cleanliness of the house. The dishwasher had mold that was still present after running the dishwasher. Imade Vacasa aware of several of the issues: stains on carpet, stains on furniture, ice maker wasn’t working, hole in bedroom closet door, television/cable in main family area was not working. The screened porch was filthy including the cushions on the wicker. The photos on VRBO app were not an accurate presentation of the property. This was the most unclean vacation property I’ve ever rented or stayed. The cleaning crew is not doing anyone any favors. I have video of the mold in the dishwasher if Vacasa needs to see it. The dishwasher wasn’t even permanently installed. We didn’t spend a ton of time at the property, given we were only there for 3 nights. Had this been a week-long vacation- we would have needed to resolve the lack of cleanliness.
