The rental property was roomy, well stocked with kitchen supplies and clean. The location in the back is quiet with a view of trees. Sea Colony is packed with wonderful activities and this rental unit is worth the stay.

Lovely stay!
The unit was quite comfortable for the 6 of us and the kitchen was well appointed. The tram runs regularly so being further away from the beach wasn’t bad. The primary bathroom was amazing and the beds were all comfortable.

Great Home!
We spent two nights at the condo. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament, 3 moms and 3 boys. Plenty of space for everyone. The trolly stop outside the condo was great, about 10 minutes to the beach...very quick in early June, not sure how it would be in the summer. It was our first time in Sea Colony, we didn't use most of the amenities, but it seemed like there were a lot. There were shops and restaurants close by.
The condo was clean and we would definitely recommend!

Our Stay
Overall the home was very nice, pretty well updated with all the necessary amenities. Unfortunately, like other places we have stayed at through Vacasa, the cleanliness of the home prior to us arriving was poor. 1.5 bathrooms were not cleaned, the kitchen still had food remnants in the refrigerator, the old linens were left on the front porch and the clean linens, where still in a bag on the front porch. Therefore, no beds were made and no towels were in the bathrooms.

Great unit, terrible experience with Vacasa
The unit itself I would give 5 stars but had a very bad experience with the management company. When we arrived the unit was very warm. We assumed the AC just needed a minute to cool the place down, but two hours later it was still 85 degrees in the condo. I used the text number for Vacasa maintenance. It was clear right away that the person on the other end had no idea what they were doing and no familiarity with the unit. They first advised me to “unplug the AC.” Thankfully for the homeowner, I didn’t think this was a good idea and told the person on the other end so. They then responded that they would put a ticket in (still not sure for what). I tried many times to ask when they expected someone to come fix the unit and they would not tell me but assured me they would contact me with an update when they had one. We went to dinner at this point and I really expected someone would come by the unit during this time. When we arrived back around 8, the unit was even hotter and I had received no updates. At this point, I called the number for Vacasa. This person was equally unhelpful and even rude. It was clear the people are at a call center far away and know nothing. I was told that a ticket had been submitted earlier but that the AC wouldn’t be fixed until the next day. At this point, I had to get very demanding with the woman on the phone. I am seven months pregnant and am not paying to stay in a unit with no AC. She continued to tell me, though, that the only thing she could do was put a ticket in for me. She had no idea when anyone would review the ticket or when the issue would be fixed. After I hung up with her (and was super frustrated), I finally got a call from someone local and a repair person was out within an hour. I was ultimately happy with this response, but routing all calls for Vacasa properties through a call center is a terrible way to do things. You all tout that you have a local team but there is no way to contact them. It is clear that the people in the call center could care less and know nothing about where you are staying (who suggests unplugging an AC unit????). Please fix this so that calls are directed straight to the local team. It is clear these people care about customer service and the units they are taking care of. Owners should also be aware of the sluggish and apathetic response from Vacasa as I would hate to find out what would happen if you tried to call and report something even more serious.

Sea Colony is all pain points
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH INDIVIDUAL PROPERTY; the place we stayed in was nice, clean, spacious, and great to stay in.
The issue is with Sea Colony:
-8 Bedroom house, 2 parking passes. This is unreasonable to start. However, there is suggested lot for overflow parking. After the 15 minute one-way drive to this lot, you are asked to leave $10/night in an envelope, which we did (we got there Friday evening, planned to depart Sunday morning, so we left $20 for each night of parking).
When we went to retrieve the car, it was parked in. When we found someone who appeared to work there, he informed us we were parked in on purpose, as we didn't put enough money in the envelope( in his calculation, we were there three days(Fri, Sat, Sun), though in reality we were there less than 48 hours). So, we had to leave and get cash back from a Dollar General to pay the ransom so he'd unblock our car. Considering this was all done without a phone call to warn us, I consider this entirely unacceptable, especially as this is apparently an officially Sea Colony- affiliated operation.
Other non-parking points:
-We were made to move our shade structure, that we brought for our toddler (not a tent or ez-up) away from the water and behind a line of orange flags...only umbrellas (which the day before had all blown into the ocean) in front of that line. No logical safety-related reason for it.
-The "tram tracker" does not provide a schedule...just the next arrival time, which was never accurate
-Passes, parking- every turn of our short vacation, we were bleeding more money
I do not plan to stay at Sea Colony every again.

Family beach getaway
Great option for a perfect resort. The unit layout is spacious and functional for all ages. The location is a simple bike ride to the beach, “fun for the kids”, while providing a lovely quite setting away from the busyness of the crowds.
Everything was good except directions to find the property were not good.
Property was very nice. The tram was very convenient and useful.

Sea Colony Hidden Gem!!!
You can’t go wrong with this spacious condo! High end decor and very clean! It’s tucked away in a corner- private screened in porch and small deck was awesome for us! Condo has modern updates and is beautifully furnished and decorated. We drove to Sea Colony and dropped our things off and then parked on Sea Colony property. For us the spacious condo was worth having to drive- tram also runs, but we preferred taking our car and bikes- so easy! We’re a family of 5 - (kids are young adults). Everyone had their own space- loft is a fabulous 4th bedroom. With fans going my son who slept up there wasn’t bothered with noise. We loved being close to the fitness center and having all Sea Colony amenities! Only downside of our trip was someone hit our bike rack that was on our truck and destroyed it while it was parked on Sea Colony property- security was zero help- no cameras. That was near the high rises- not near the condo- condo area was quiet with friendly neighbors!
