Should we ever come back to Vieux-Boucau-les-Baines I would stay here. Villa Lucia is only a10 minute walk to the village and the house has everything you'll need for your stay. The village has plenty of eateries to choose from, had a market everyday except Sunday in summer and felt quite laid back. It is also a very easy area to bike around. The aircon and pool certainly helped to keep us cool during the heat wave we experienced. The house is well laid out and had plenty of room to enable us to have a bit of our own space. Six loungers around the pool enabled us to move to follow the shade or sun, depending on how we felt. The 2 large sun umbrellas were used to the maximum. The kitchen is well equipped with food storage containers, cookware and sharp knives which is a bonus. The 2 fridges enabled us to use one for food and one for drinks. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms we used were double bedrooms. The bathrooms were very clean, spacious and showers had great water flow. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and Ludovic explained the premises very well. The 3 of us were very impressed with the house and would highly recommend Villa Lucia to anyone looking for a place to stay at Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains.Thank you Julie and Ludovic for the gifts for getting us started, we appreciate it.
