The Ginger - Mid Century Getaway
Getaway from it all in our new remodeled desert oasis. This tranquil and serene mid-century modern home located just one mile from downtown Palm Springs. Relax, unwind, and Enjoy!
The open plan great-room is a comfy space with couches and window seat loungers, along with a fireplace and large screen TV with sound system. From the great room, the backyard features umbrellas and outdoor loungers that surround the sparkling pool and spa with a lush garden. There is also a firepit and outdoor dining area so you can enjoy all the best of outdoor living in Palm Springs with the majestic backdrop of the San Juan Mountains.
The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops and stainless state-of-the-art appliances and is fully stocked for your vacation food preparation. The master suite has a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. In the 3rd bedroom provides the choice of a 1 king or 2 twin xl beds. The 2nd & 3rd share a bathroom. All bedrooms have luxury linens & bedding. TV's in the master bedroom, and both guest rooms, and another large TV in the living room. Wifi and sound systems are available throughout the house.
-NO pets allowed - this is not a pet friendly property
- Early check-in or late check-out may be available with an extra fee. Please ask for a quote. Subject to availability.
- Pool Heating fee $100 per day, $700 per week. Weekly discount may be available April - September. Pool heating may not be available in extreme weather conditions. Pool heating fee may be adjusted in the unlikely event of extreme fluctuations in gas prices. When a fee is paid pools are heated to a max temp of 86 degrees (80-86 is normal)
- Actual utilities paid by guests for reservations 28 nights or longer. 21 nights May - October. A separate utility deposit per month will be collected. This deposit is based on the Market Price of Natural Gas and the Market Price of Electricity and will be collected post-booking. Meter reading photos are taken on the day of arrival and the day of departure. Any unused amount will be refunded at end of the stay.
You are encouraged to take your own photos of the Gas and Electric meters on arrival and departure to keep track of usage. Please be aware that SoCal Edison and SoCal Gas have some of the highest utility rates in the country so we recommend that you keep close track of your usage to avoid surprises. Utilities are charged at the Market Price of Natural Gas per therm (gas) and the Market Price of Electricity per Kilowatt (electric) and are based on the average cost of Gas and Electric in the desert at the time of stay. We do not provide private owner utility bills.

- Recommended air conditioner temp is 74 in summer, be advised anything lower can freeze the system rendering it non-functional.
- Recommended to stock the refrigerator in stages as stocking too much at one time can cause food and drink to perish.
