The Burke Cabin is truly a special spot. The space is cozy and inviting, the view is spectacular - you truly have the property to yourself. Our dogs loved racing though the field and we enjoyed leisurely walks exploring and taking in the breathtaking surroundings. So peaceful. You feel like you’re the only humans for miles when truly it’s just a short drive to restaurants, the grocery store and endless hiking trails. Can’t recommend enough!
We had an awesome escape from our usual christmas of travelling everyday and hectic traffic. We were super lucky to end up getting about a foot of snow during our stay and had the true white christmas. The house was great and the dogs loved romping in the meadow out in front of the house. It was very quiet and relaxing.
It is with mixed emotions that we write this review because we would love to keep this cabin as a “secret” hideout. Our family of 4 plus a tiny dog had a great New Years’ weekend at this location. It was a winter wonderland. The cabin was cozy, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for. We would definitely come back again!
It was absolutely perfect. Amazing view of Mt Hood
We booked the property for a friends wedding / Honeymoon. The property manager Maria was great and extremely accommodating.
Absolutely brilliant cabin from the views to the claw foot tub!!
We had an amazing stay at this cabin. It is so quiet and comfortable. The view of the mounitain is breathtaking. We saw many deer. The house it very comfortable and has everything you would need.
I didn’t want to give this a good review because I wanted this cabin available anytime our family needs a getaway. Alas... I suppose it’s right to share:). We spent hours on the front porch looking up at hood. It was incredible! The prairie out front also made a perfect space for the kid and dogs to romp free range. The host was super communicative and helpful. Everything was great. Total treasure.
Beautiful home, better than described! Fully stocked kitchen, wood fire stove with plenty of dry wood ready, bathtub with many candles, and acreage to explore. House construction itself is a work of art. Total goldilocks find- not too big or small, just right for the 4 of us. Thrilled and grateful!
This cozy, rustic cabin was the perfect getaway for our family of 4. It was just a short drive from the cabin to all the activities Mt. Hood has to offer. The view of Mt. Hood from the cabin is spectacular and the stars at night were amazing. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with all necessary utensils, pots and pans. Host was very communicative and check-in was a breeze. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My husband, Chandler and I were both lucky enough to have grown up in the beautiful Mt. Hood area. Now with hard work and determination we are raising our five children in this magical place. A few years ago Chandler sold a large portion of his company and we purchased our rustic log cabin. We love the idea of sharing our peaceful cabin and property with people from all over the world!
