Greer River's Edge Cabin! The beautiful cabin boasts the views and sounds of the Little Colorado River! Large lot with plenty of room to play and roam or just relax and listen to the sound of the river flowing by! The cabin features a master bedroom and master bath on the first floor as well as kitchen, dining room, living room, reading/game area, and laundry room. The 2nd floor features 2 bedrooms, a full bath and a huge loft with a Queen memory foam sleeper sofa, TV area, foosball, and game table. We have wireless internet, and dish TV. Plenty of places to sit on the front porch or the back deck and a BBQ grill for your convenience! A short walk to the river. Great location in Greer at the end of the village we are between Greer Lodge and the Red Setter! One Mile walk or drive to the Famous Molly Butler Lodge Restaurant and Rendezvous Diner! Both have amazing food and friendly service! Come stay awhile and relax! Parking for 2 vehicles in front of the cottage. Additional parking on the side of the property however we can not accommodate RV's or large campers.

We have four exterior security cameras on the property for security. One is located on the cabin front porch in plain view. One is located on the rear cabin porch by the back door that leads to the living room/game area. The third security camera is on the exterior of the attached cottage in the front in plain view. The 4th is in the side yard/backyard exterior of the cottage. Photos of the cameras are in the property photos. We do not have any interior cameras.

Greer is a small, beautiful town in the White Mountains. It lies at an elevation of approximately 8,300 feet (2,500 m) and is surrounded by the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Greer Lakes is a fishing and scenic destination one mile north of Greer off FS 87B made up of three lakes: Bunch Reservoir, Tunnel Reservoir, and River Reservoir. There are paths in and around the lakes that would appeal to day hikers, photographers, and mountain bikers. There are many other amazing lakes around the area such as Big Lake, Sunrise Lake and A1 Lake. While Greer is a four hour drive from Phoenix and a four-and-a-half hour drive from Tucson, it remains one of the most popular summer vacation destinations in Arizona, as it is consistently 20-30 degrees cooler than the deserts.

We are located 20 miles (approximately 30 minute drive) from some of the best skiing in Arizona- Sunrise Ski Resort! Sunrise also has ski bikes- check them out if you haven't seen them- and a tubing hill with pulley to get you back to the top! They have plenty of Spring, Summer and Fall events and activities as well- check their site for info!

A perfect area to get away for some peace and quiet or to go out and hike and adventure. ATV/OHV trails in the area. Amazing fishing. A photographer and nature watcher's dream! Come explore and fall in love with Greer, AZ in all 4 seasons!

(Please note- You can not access the river from behind our cabin/cottage. To access the river- it is a short walk down Main St where you can enjoy it for miles and miles. From the property you can enjoy the sight and sound of it.

The side yard and back yard are shared space between the cabin and cottage. For total privacy book both units- contact me for more details. )

Fantastic Cabin

Relaxing getaway

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The cabin was easy to find, very clean and stocked well. Instructions pre- arrival and during checkout was clear and easy to follow. Lovely mountain escape

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain cabin. It is nestled into a very quiet neighborhood of Greer, close to fishing and hiking. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. Little perk was seeing the blue jays come to the house for peanuts (provided by cabin!)… the kids loved it. Melinda was quick to respond with any questions we had + also gave great recommendations on things to do. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this great getaway.

Amazing Cabin

We had a wonderful experience at this cabin. You can hear the river and sit out on the back porch and watch the wildlife, or on the front porch and watch the hummingbirds and bunnies. Cabin has a great kitchen with everything you need, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Foosball was so fun for the family! Close walk towards the center of Greer. Highly recommend! Melinda is so friendly and helpful to ensure a great stay.

Great place

We loved this cute mountain cabin, especially the back deck where you can sit and listen to the creek flowing through the neighbors property. The stairs in the house are very narrow (one of our kids has some mobility issues, so we were cautious on the stairs), but other than that we had everything that we needed, and enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms/showers have soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers. The kitchen had all of the utensils we needed. And the adults all enjoyed sitting in the living room by the gas fireplace, whole the kids played games upstairs. Perfect little mountain getaway!

Wonderful place for families

Our family has been coming to Greer for many years and this cabin was by far one of the best we have stayed at. The cabin was lovely. There were so many personal touches and care put into the cabin from the owner. We were very impressed. Great place for families and kids. The cabin is close to all the good hiking and fishing spots. Our family loved staying there. We had an amazing trip and will definitely be returning to this wonderful cabin in the future.

Beautiful cozy cabin on the river

We have been going to career for the past 30 plus years and have stayed at a lot of beautiful places. This one rates very high on the list. Beautiful, cozy, well appointed three bedroom cabin in the middle of everything but still very private. The sound of the river from the back patio was magical. The hosts also did a number of touches that impressed us. Free coffee, some snacks, a very well appointed kitchen with oil and spices, etc, even peanuts with instructions to leave them on the patio for the stellar Jays to visit. We love this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Why they chose this property

We love being able to sit out back and listen to the peaceful sound of the river. It's close to hiking trails and close to the village yet sits on a more private lot. Having the Cabin and the Cottage on one lot was perfect for our family to all enjoy time in Greer and have some separation of space if we wanted to. We loved the versatility of being able to rent either just the cabin, just the cottage or both of them together! Greer has won our hearts of our expanding family!

What makes this property unique

We love watching all of the wildlife. Bluebirds, Deer, Elk, Squirrels just to name a few!
