Cozy 3 BD Townhome at Luxury Community Regal Palms minutes from Parks

This beautiful town home at the ever-popular Regal Palms is in only 10 miles from Disney and close to all other local attractions.
The space
The first floor has a large, combined dining/living area, with tv, that opens into the fully equipped kitchen and cozy back patio, overlooking a large grassy open space. The grassy space in the community offers a shared BBQ and picnic area. WiFi is available throughout the property.
It has 3 spacious bedrooms, with a King, a Queen (on 1st Floor) and two singles each with a pull-out trestle bed, so sleeps up to 8. Each bedroom has its own tv and in-suite bathroom.
Regal Palms
This superbly equipped resort has a swimming pool, hot tub, lazy river, waterslide, playground, barbecue area, bar/restaurant, Fitness Centre including Sauna and Steam rooms and Convenience Store. The Front Desk is staffed 24 hours a day and resort entry are via a manned security gate. Parking permits, keys and property maps will be provided during check-in at the Front Desk from where towels are also available (free) for the leisure facilities.
Other things to note.
Please note that the resort charges a SEPARATE FEE (not included in the nightly rate) of $22.40 inc. tax resort fee per day, per unit - not per person. A credit card will be required at check in for incidentals and to guarantee the payment of this fee at the resort.
Check in time is after 4 PM and the checkout 10 AM

No TV service

The only really bad thing is there is NO Television service in the bedrooms, very inconvenient. Numerous small things should be repaired including the front door lock and handle. Steps to up stairs are dangerous. We will NOT stay there again.

Short Getaway

We recently stayed in this unit for a short visit to the Orlando area. Regal Palms is a lovely resort with great amenities. The pool area with restaurant and bar was lovely. The unit was quite nice and well appointed. It was a big disappointment that we did not have any access to television or wifi during our visit even though it was supposed to be included. The property contact explained that the issue was due to the property having been recently sold but it would have been nice to get notified of the issue prior to our arrival. That way we could have possibly arranged for some data plans with our own service providers. Travelling with teens and not having wifi or television made the evenings challenging. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience.

Terrible, NOT CLEAN, BROKEN ITEMS, OVERCHARGED FOR DAYS NOT THERE, ONE TV WORKED! POOR!!!!!

Don’t stay here! We had to wash all the bedding, comforters, carpets, sweep, tubs had rings around them etc. Spent first day cleaning and shopping for cleaning items! Broken items- door, can opener, and knives. Checking in we were charged for a day that we never stayed and had to pay for it to get our passes! Called and try to contact VRBO IT TOOK 4 days for them to respond. We had to borrow a can opener, door never did get fixed. Definitely not clean and forget Covid standards! Don’t waste your time or money!

Wonderful unit!

Wonderful stay! Before going, I contacted the owner and asked about a pack-and-play for my 8-month-old grandson. She stated there was one in the unit. Unfortunately, we could not find it. The management company actually sent someone out to buy a new one for our use. You don't see that very often. They went above and beyond in my opinion. Only problem we had, the next-door neighbor had quite a few people in the unit and the music was blaring and vibrated our walls. It was hard for my grandchildren to nap. That had nothing to do with our unit or the owner however the management company must not have thought it was a problem when we called to complain. All in all, we definitely will come back and hopefully stay in the same unit again. Thanks for the wonderful time.

Nice place, 3 bed, 3 bath was wonderful. We enjoyed the lazy river but you need to know they don’t rent floaters for the river. You have to buy your own, recommend a Walmart over the $18 they charge there. Very nice location. Don’t count on the internet/cable, but that really isn’t the owners fault, I don’t think

Great place

Property was clean, homey and great to relax in. It really had everything you needed. Great for Disney. Definitely would recommended to anyone looking for a place to vacation Only cons I could see were minor, linens/sheets were a little old and the clubhouse and pool is a very far walk. had to drive and was difficult with young kids and our big party but wasn’t so much an inconvenience, just be aware when booking if transportation is an issue or you have a big party with one car. The amenities and pool were soooo much fun. We enjoyed them. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nice Property, 45-60 minutes to parks

The property was nice and well-kept. The advertisement that it is “Minutes from the parks” is a bit deceptive. No matter if we went to Disney or to Universal it took a minimum of 45 -60 minutes each way. We had a great time regardless.

Good accomodations.. needing some attention.

Positive: Great Value, clean, spacious. Some pool toys and 2 folding chairs in closet. Negative: Smoke/fire alarm in upstairs bedroom beeping. I reported it to the number I was given at check in. Got a call back and was told Maintenance would come either that day or next day. I also reported the microwave oven light was out. Neither fixed by the time we left several days later, nor did we receive any more callbacks. Only 2 working bulbs out of 5 in dining chandelier.. carbon monoxide detectors dismantled with batteries out of units in laundry room. Refrige light out also. Very sparse cooking supplies, no potholders or dish cloths.

Very nice condo. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool etc due to the Florida Bass Nation tournament we came for my son. The condo was very comfy when we could relax. Definitely want to rebook for vacation soon.

8 day Vacation

The property was just as listed, and very well kept. But I did not have cable or wifi for the first 5 days of my stay, the next door neighbor was a nuisance. Him and his wife harrassed myself and my son daily for any little noise made in the unit such as walking up and down the stairs. He even called the police on us. I would stay at Regal Palm again just not the same townhouse.
