A charming, sunlit, open-concept home perfect for summer getaway in Edgartown

***NOTE: this rental is only available for booking strictly on a Saturday to Saturday basis. As well we cannot allow pets... sadly no exceptions********

As of May 2023 we have a fully renovated main bathroom. This includes a stunning marble stone glassed in shower area, the room itself decorated in a neutral beautiful beachy theme. We also provide bath towels as well as bed linens for your stay. We ask renters still bring their own beach towels.
This is a beautiful spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home ideally located in Edgartown, short distance to the beach via bike or car, Edgartown Center, various shops, restaurants, and supermarket. Fully equipped with air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen , washer- drier, outdoor shower, grill, lobster pot, beach chairs, umbrella and coolers. There is a spacious deck that lights up beautifully at night. This home is a wonderful choice for those looking for a quintessential summer getaway on Martha's Vineyard. This open-concept home has a bright sunny great room with vaulted ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows. A fully equipped kitchen with large dinner table allows ample space for cooking and shared meals. Two bedrooms located on the first floor have two twin beds in each. Upstairs main bedroom, newly remodeled, contains a king sized bed with attached sitting room and private deck. There is a large deck attached to the house that includes a gas grill. There is an outdoor shower as well as a small back yard surrounded by woods.

Great location and very spacious

Place is great for families and close to everything including the main bus line. Sharon was very easy to get a hold of and the place is fully stocked with everything you could think of.

A beautiful stay in Edgartown!

We absolutely loved "How Sweet It Is" - the house was just as we saw in pictures and so clean upon arrival. The home has all of the amenities you need for a wonderful time on the island and its proximity to State Beach as well as downtown Edgartown can't be beat. For a family of 4-6 people, it's the PERFECT spot. The host was so welcoming and helpful and we appreciated every minute on the island. We cannot wait to go back!

Bright airy modern

We really enjoyed staying at this home again. The location is ideal on the outskirt of downtown Edgartown as well as easy access to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. The house itself is sunny and open with nice deck space for enjoying time when not out and about….a lovely home.

We loved our stay! The house suited us well, had everything we needed, and the location was perfect. Easy mile or so walk into Edgartown and for the teens in our group to explore the town or island via bus system. We were sad to leave however we left with tons of great memories! Our home away from home

This is our fourth year at this Vineyard home and we just love the place, location, and beautiful landscaping! Our 2 year old granddaughter was the focus this time and we enjoyed outdoor dining at Katama Kitchen, The Towne( best mac/cheese) Noman’s… alpaca’s, library in Tisbury etc…. and of course the beach near the house! We’ll be back!!

Pretty Place, Perfect Location

Attractive house, light and airy, very clean and organized, great to have air with sun exposure. House is not far from the triangle so you can walk/bike to a few of the markets if the traffic builds up there. Easy access to Edgartown and the state beach. Nice quiet neighborhood, really loved the place! Ann P

summer vacation

vacation home has everything you need for a perfect stay on the vineyard....we walked to Edgartown each morning ...or biked. Kitchen is fully equipped and plenty of space to enjoy breakfast Our family was able to utilize both bathrooms....gave everyone a chance to get ready. updated bathroom on main is floor lovely.. having a washer and dryer was a great bonus.Perfect for a small family.

Contemporary home in Edgartown

We had a nice stay, first time in Edgartown. We enjoyed the open concept home, bright, clean with beautifully landscaped yard. Very convenient to public beach, biking path and stores / restaurants. Sharon was easy to communicate with and shows a lot of pride in ownership. We wish we had a better weather for biking. Hope we will be back next year!

Oh how sweet it was

The property is exactly as described-Quiet neighborhood, only a short ride from most popular locations.if possible bring bikes, for the quick runs to the grocery store and exploring the island. Nice big driveway allowed us to have multiple vehicles and a small boat on a trailer. Although we didn’t use much in the shed, it has plenty of games and fun stuff for the family beach outings! Perfect size for a small family or a few adult couples. House has everything you need for basic cooking and BBQ -ing. A/C mini splits in every room and ceiling fans, made for a cool breezy environment, on those humid days. Sharon was always available to answer all of our questions and concerns. We had a great time and hope to get back next year!

10 STARS!

How sweet it WAS! We absolutely loved our week on MV at this property. From my first inquiry to our checkout, everything was seamless. Sharon was extremely patient with all of my questions leading up to our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood (even with a new house being built across the street it was very quiet). The home is located steps from Bad Martha's Brewery and conveniently located near Stop and Shop. Getting to downtown Edgartown took about 7 or so minutes in the car, but we didn't go much because parking was brutal. I do want to mention how clean this home was (we've stayed in many rentals where this was not the case and really puts an initial damper on the vacation because i'm stuck cleaning up a bit!) and how well stocked it was with everything you might need for cooking, packing lunch, etc. Martha's Vineyard is such a special place, we would love to return to do the things we didn't get a chance to this time! (jump off the jaws bridge, sunset picnic at Menemsha, sigh...) Some of our highlights from the week: Chilmark Pottery, Nomans cocktails and snacks after the beach, Island Alpaca, The Dunes at Winnetu dinner, Cedar Neck Tree Sanctuary Hike, Aquinnah Cliffs, Oversand driving at Norton Point.
