A short walk to old Quebec as advertised. Some nice shops and diners. Parking garage was close. There were a lot of homeless folks in this part of town.

Nice place for a couple of nights

Nice and cosy. Very reasonably priced. Close to most attractions. Since I am short, the high dining table was a bit of a problem, but that's just me.

We stayed for 3 nights. The location was good for walking to old town (20 minutes) and there were a number of good restaurants nearby. The host was very good with communication and answering questions. Our check in was delayed as the room was not ready. We parked at the Indigo lot not too far as street parking was limited and confusing There are a lot of homeless people on St. Joseph as the nearby church acts as a homeless shelter, but it did not make us feel unsafe.

Great location!

Loved the location, close to lots.of good restaurants and bars. Air con unit was free standing and not the best during the 30+ weather. Washing machine is a shared one for the floor not in the room.

Small place within walking distance to Quebec City

Unit itself was fine. Steps leading up to apartment and entry way were very dirty, dark and dingy. We only had one wine glass but contacted host who had housekeeper deliver two. Shower was very good. Building was very secure although neighbourhood left something to be desired.

Spacious, convenient and decently equipped. The apartment is literally two minutes walk from a good supermarket and surrounded by high quality food options. I got there easily from the airport on the 80 bus with a short walk and left by a 10 minute walk to via rail. You can get into the old town with a 10 minute stroll and I got the 800 bus to Montmorency from 2 min away. It's really an excellent base location.The area is ever so slightly gritty, QC in the old town is very sanitized and touristy, this property is just on the edge of that area and is a little more artsy/hipster/studenty/real. I did not feel unsafe at any point at all though. The entranceway to the property is a bit rough round the edges but the apartments are clean, comfortable and well managed. The host was very responsive and helpful. The kitchen is decently equipped with pans, olive oil, salt pepper, double hob, microwave and fridge (note no oven, this is in the listing though). The studio is spacious and has everything you need.I will say the area is quiet but the building is not. The walls are thin and you can hear every move of your neighbour. If you are a light or late sleeper earplugs might be a good idea. Also note the laundry is not in the unit but shared.

La chambre est belle et propre. On est à 10 minutes à pied de toutes les attractions. Point négatif est la fenêtre. Elle est très mal isolée. On se fait réveiller toute la nuit par les bruits extérieurs.

Close to the Old City

We had a nice stay, construction aside, and the location was a simple 15 minute walk to old Quebec. The unit was easy to find, clean, and well appointed. The bed could use a newer mattress but it was fine. I recommend this place highly as a choice to be close to old Quebec with a reasonable price point.
