Wonderful Property for a Boston weekday baseball visit, out of the way of the hustle and bustle of being in the city. Great value and way better than being in a hotel room. Neighborhood vibe is great. Beautiful parks nearby as well. We Uber’d everywhere and was easy. Boston does have traffic tho we walked out to dinner several nights with less than a mile walk to great neighborhood spots. Very safe and very friendly neighborhood walks.

I highly recommend this property. The house was in a quiet and safe neighborhood close to the T station, and local grocery stores. The host was very easy to reach and provided clear guidance on how to enter the home. We would love to visit Boston again!

Lovely home! Very nicely kept and clean. But the layout of MBR and 2nd bedroom is not ideal. Upstairs floors make noises when walking on them.

We were very pleased with the location and house, super clean, cute, and room to spread out! Overall A. About the only comment is for guests to realize the main bathroom has to go through one of the secondary bedrooms to reach the hallway and upstairs bathroom (and stairs). It was not a deal-breaker for us but just wanted to point that out if it matters to others.

The Vrbo house was well stocked with anything that we may need including if we were cooking. The linens smelled wonderful I’m not sure what’s being used to wash the laundry but keep using it. I enjoyed my stay and the will be looking for this rental for future stays. The host was very responsive and helpful!

Everything was very clean when we arrived, the housekeepers passed us at the door in fact, which also helped us get into the house faster. Susan was very responsive to our questions as well. The house was comfortable and a second home for us while our home was undergoing construction. We were so lucky that we were able to find something so quickly. Only recommendation— The living room needs another form of lighting, like a lamp. The overhead light was far too bright to watch TV and was the only light in the room so we brought the desk lamp in. Totally a nonissue obviously. Thank you, Susan!

This home is beautiful and clean. The location was convenient enough (we took the commuter train into Boston). There was lots of space: not only 3 bedrooms, but also an office and a 3 season porch. We enjoyed playing lots of Pac-Man, and couldn’t leave until we made it on the top scores list. Know that to access the master bedroom, you have to go through another bedroom. I am giving it 4 stars because we had multiple things break on us. A chair leg buckled and the chair began to collapse. A light fixture fell off the ceiling. The front on the dishwasher feels like it could pull right off every time you open it. There are a few things that might need some upgrading!

Regarding the concerns mentioned, we do want to clarify that both the light fixture and dishwasher were fully intact and functioning properly prior to your arrival. You also advised us that the dishwasher wasn’t working but you later verified to us you inadvertently turned off the power switch to it. The light fixture, in particular, was securely installed and did not have any prior issues. We understand things can happen during a stay, and we will of course take care of all necessary repairs promptly to maintain the quality and safety of the home. We are always working to keep the property in excellent condition and will also review the other items mentioned to see where upgrades can be made. We loved the quiet neighborhood and fully equipped kitchen. With a new Trader Joe’s not far away, it was super convenient to get the refrigerator stocked and ready for meal preparation. I liked the outdoor grill and, as a family, we utilized and really enjoyed the breakfast area. The upstairs bedrooms were comfortable. Television and WiFi were excellent. This was a great place for a family get together. West Roxbury is a very nice upper middle class neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised over and over again. Thanks to Susan, our pleasant and very responsive host.

Great stay

Our family of 4adults and two children had a great stay at Susan’s house. It was super clean and very comfortable for our family. The location is great for easy access into Boston and Centre Street only a mile away, had nice restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. We loved the PAC Man game too would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
