About this property

Paradise on Golden Lake

Wake up to the beautiful view of Golden Lake, and go to sleep with the beautiful sunsets. Canoes, kayaks and standup paddle boards available for use on the beach. The cottage is within walking distance of 2 restaurants, within 60 minutes of Algonquin park, 60 minutes of whitewater rafting, within 25 minutes to many little gift shops in Barry's Bay like GIft it Gray! Polish settlement and restaurant in Wilno, and a Schnitzel (Granary)house in Eganville. Chinese food across the highway! Bonnechere river is a few minutes up the lake with wonderful colours in the fall and fish! Lots of hiking trails and lots of snowmobile and ATV trails from the cottage. Cottage is equipped with anything you will need wit AC and a generac if the hydro should go out. There are 2 museums and endless hiking trails in Algonquin Park. Churches in the are a large Polish Catholic Church on Wilno hill, several Protestant churches in Killaloe and Golden Lake and Family Life Christian Centre in Barry’s Bay! Many of these churches can be found on Facebook. Grocery stores in Killaloe, Barry’s bay and Eganville! Banks in Killaloe, Barry’s bay and Eganville! If there is anything else you are looking for just message us.
