We enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful place. We love being able to ride out directly to the trails. Our pin that he dropped to us didn’t take us directly to the location. We came in late at night and was unable to get our long trailer across the creek. We had to back out and leave it down by the driveway. We probably should have came during the day. It would have been an easier process. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.
We were very pleased that the condition and cleanliness were top notch. Great communication with Gary and good directions to location. Super getaway cabin!
The host was very welcoming. Reached and answered any questions we had before we got to the cabin. The cabin smelled so good and very clean. It was everything we needed. The place is so peaceful and relaxing. It was just my husband and I. Next time we’ll have to bring the kids. It’s a great place to unwind and just be at one with family or friends.
The cabin was wonderful. It's off the beaten path & secluded, which we loved. The creek was beautiful. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend. We booked our next stay there, already!
We had an amazing stay! Photos do not do this place justice, that’s for sure. We all hope to go back sometime soon!

Didn’t get to stay there. There is a creek you have to drive over to get to cabin. Was not able to see the bottom and huge rocks to drive over, was not comfortable driving my car over. Had to book a hotel in town.
We were very impressed with this cabin in the woods. The cabin itself was well‑equipped, clean, and welcoming. The bed in the master was the most comfortable non‑home bed I can remember. The wi‑fi was surprisingly strong; a real plus, because there is no cell service for many miles. The living room furniture was also very comfortable, and I wish we’d had more downtime to just sit and enjoy the space. The creek access exceeded our expectations. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and full of wildlife. The location is more secluded than we anticipated. Photos often make a property look remote when it really isn’t. This one truly is.The host’s communication was excellent. Text messages were answered immediately, and the driving directions provided were clear. I only wish I had paid closer attention to them. Do not approach the property from the north. Use the suggested route from Oark.Highly recommend!
This was the perfect cabin for what we were looking for. Very peaceful. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and comfortable, this cabin is perfect. We will definitely be back.
I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our week stay at cabin. The hosts provided all of the necessary information to find the cabin easily without the luxury of cellular service. Thankfully once we had access to the cabin's wifi we were able to access service & could plan our daily activities. We cooked several times & most of the kitchen accessories were provided by the hosts. The beds and furniture were comfortable & made time spent at the cabin very relaxing. There is immediate access to a stream 50 yards from the cabin. Our young boys really enjoyed spending time playing in the water & checking out all the cool rocks. Note that this is property is relatively remote & is at least 45 minutes from the nearest city with a decent sized grocery store & at least an hour from any attractions in the area. So plan accordingly for that. We found ourselves driving a lot each day to any of our destinations. When mapping out our destinations, most of the time we were routed through Panther Creek Rd to the north. I learned almost immediately to avoid this route. It's a very slow & tough trek through the mountain roads that aren't necessarily well maintained. There were several instances where we did not think we'd be able to proceed in our 2WD SUV. Needless to say, we avoided taking that route and utilized HWY 5440 to HWY 21 to get where we needed to go. All in all it was a great experience. We're already talking about coming back. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
We had such an amazing time saying at this cabin. Everything was extremely clean and beds were very comfortable! If you’re looking for a private secluded experience, this is your place. We loved having the creek right in our front yard. Our host was very responsive and helpful with any question we had! I would stay here again and would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing beautiful get a way!’
The cabin is amazing. Loved all the details of the cabin and had all conveniences that you would need. Loved sitting on front porch in rocking chair and listening to the quiet of the area. The beds were very comfortable.
We was very satisfied with the state that we had at the cabin. The owners were very helpful if needed for something they were always there. I would recommend this being a good place to stay thank you.
My wife and friends stayed to spend a weekend hiking in the mountains. The stay was excellent and an excellent setting in the woods. We will definitely book to stay here again.
