We loved the location and the way the cottages were set up. Very nice and clean on the inside. They are a tad bit small, but for 2 people it was perfect. If we are in the area again, this would be our choice.
This was a cute little cottage located just a few miles from the Ark Encounter. A train track is close, but we actually enjoyed hearing the train go by. Check in was easy, and we enjoyed our stay.
This is such a neat please to stay. The tiny house was perfect for our anniversary trip to the Ark Encounter. The homes are perfect for a couple! The area is so lovely and quaint. The train does go right by but go read about the Galloping Goose Railcars and learn a piece of history.
My mother & I stayed one night on our way north. We decided pretty much the day before that we would stop in the area to visit the Ark Encounter (which was fantastic) and were lucky to find the Galloping Goose Cottages. Simply furnished and the small quaint bathroom felt almost like playing house (as if we were little girls). The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch while we drank our morning coffee (would have preferred tea over coffee) before we headed out. We would stay again if we ever find ourselves traveling that way.
Perfect for a peaceful little getaway! Cottage was very clean and beautiful, bed was super comfy, and the shower was nice and hot!
I loved the sound of the train.
Will definitely recommend, and hope to visit again :)
If someone is a light sleeper then this may not be the place for you because it is very close to a railroad. However, outside of that detail, everything about our stay was amazing. It was a perfect getaway and brought the ambience of a nice resort with the cost of a close by hotel. The stay was clean and the owner was very accommodating. Overall 10/10. I can’t wait to stay again.

Adorable private cottage. All amenities you expect at a good hotel. Checkin was easy. Bed was clean and comfortable. Sound of occasional passing train added to the uniqueness of this type of accommodations. Highly recommend.
