The cottage was clean and neat. The grounds were well maintained. And it's conveniently close to the Ark Encounter. Staff was helpful and responded quickly via email.
We did like the convenience of this property to where we were visiting. We did not have any soaps! Had we known before we would have brought our own.
Also, just a FYI. This property sits across the street from a railroad track. The trains run occasionally thru the night. Bring a noise maker, or download one on your phone. We were comfortable in our small 2 room cottage. We really liked its cozy features. We would recommend these units.
We thought the cabin was adorable (albeit small) and the grounds were lovely. The shower stall in our cabin was abysmally small and difficult to use. We were okay with reusing towels, but needed fresh washcloths. The mattress on the air conditioner side had some slanting issues. I also had Wi-Fi issues and ended up logging onto Hogan House (?) Wi-Fi.
The room was really clean, zero issues with that. Fast response from owner on any questions. The bed was foam on slats and rolled us together in center for 2 nights. It was truly back breaking. YES I KNEW there was a train, but did NOT KNOW it ALSO blew its air horn/whistle at 1am 2am 3am 4am!! I tried to upload a video but this site doesnt allow video to reviews. There is NO lighting its all really dark, and only one small mirror over the sink so no way for 2 to get ready at once. I booked thinking it was cute but was so regretful I didnt book a real hotel with real bed and no train. ONE nite I might have survived but NOT 2.It didnt help that my hubby told everyone we were staying in a storage shed from Home Depot, hahahaah. The rolling wood plank sticking 2inch off the wall is NOT a bathroom door , on a 3 state tour this was our worst. Its cute but no thank you

Reading this review makes us very sad. We have debated on the appropriate response and certainly we are very sorry that your stay in the Home Depot "Shed" was the worst!
We do however hope you have a blessed day!
Cottages are nice but starting to show some wear, recommend routine maintenance to keep a strong visual. Floor was clean but tacky, recommend a different cleaner. Overall great concept for an overnight stay.
Place was very nice, convenient and charming. Easy check-in/out and enjoyed a nice walk in the neighborhood behind the cottages. Very peaceful and pretty.
Only complaint is there was a light bulb out in the main light fixture in the bedroom and cobwebs on the light and in the corner of the walls in the bathroom.
A little extra attention to detail by the cleaning staff would take this property from 4 to 5 stars in my book.
Great place to stay. Super clean. Awesome hot water& water pressure. AC was wonderfully cool. All the little details were met. Great communicate. Love the remote check-in with code. It made staying at this cottage so pleasant & easy.

Area was nice to walk around. The house was very nice.
The heater/airconditioner was too noisy and too close to bed. The tv was too small and too high up. Thanks

Very quaint small cottage complex. Close to RR tracks with frequent train whistles. Good close by local restaurants.
