Located just steps from Coal Creek and only 1 block off Elk Avenue, your group couldn't ask for a better location in town! Sit on the expansive outdoor decks and listen to the sounds of Coal Creek or just relax with that cup of morning coffee while taking in the unobstructed views of Mt. Crested Butte.  When it comes time to go ski, you are only 2 blocks from the free shuttle which runs you right to the base area! With all of these amenities Totem House is sure to be your family's favorite place in CB! 

Park in one of the 4 off street spots and step inside this luxury home to start your Crested Butte adventure. Kick off the hiking boots in the oversized mudroom and relax in the game room with wet bar, pool table, and comfy TV area. There are also 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on this level including the master suite with King bed.  The other two bedrooms have cozy queen beds with en-suite baths, and the massive logs used in the construction of the home are a fantastic touch throughout the home.  

On the second floor of the home you will find the great room with multiple seating areas, incredible views, a gourmet kitchen, and massive outdoor deck.  There is room for the whole clan on this floor and should someone need to work there is even an office nook with desk area.  The dining table and bar area have plenty of seating for everyone and the kitchen has room for all the chefs in the family.  There are even 2 refrigerators and 2 freezers for all the great meals after a day of fun! Cozy up to one of the two fireplaces, watch the big game, or step out onto the deck which spans the width of the home.  With plenty of outdoor seating and unobstructed views this will be the place to start and end your day with the sounds of Coal Creek close by.  Upstairs on the 3rd floor you will find a bunk room for 4 with en-suite bath and two cozy queen bedrooms, 1 with en-suite bath.

Perfect Location

We had so much fun staying in this amazing house. The location was a TEN and we walked to all the shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed and had plenty of room for us to spread out. We would definitely stay here again!

Totem House

The layout of the house was terrific for our group! Plenty of room for everyone on the main floor kitchen/living room and it was so nice that the bedrooms were on the other floors. Highly recommend!

Great House in a Great Location

We really had a great time and really loved the house. The location was perfect as well being a block off of Elk St (main street essentially) with a ton of great restaurant options nearby. Only issue was the heat had some issues, but the owners got someone out quickly to get them resolved. Would definitely stay here again if we decide to go to CB again.

Our extended family of ten met in CB and enjoyed our stay at the Totem house. Lots of room, kitchen was great and fantastic location. We wish checkout could have been a little later than 10am. Otherwise great experience.

Crested Butte Winter Getaway

Beautiful house very close to downtown, 5 minute walk to the bus stop to get to the mountain. Plenty of space for our group. The dishwasher stopped working, but the management company was very prompt to have it repaired.

Fabulous!!

Great location! this place was perfect for our big group with varying ages. Second floor common area and big kitchen was great for family dinners and gatherings. Pool room was great for kid escape. Loved having cocktails and watching the sunset on the Butte. All bedrooms and are quiet and enough baths for all. Very social location at Totem Park and easy walk everywhere - so much fun!!!

Comfy, high-end, accommodation!

Our family of ten (six adults, four teenagers) celebrated Thanksgiving and a 75th birthday at this location. Every kitchen gadget we needed was available and the living area fit all of us comfortably. Only suggestion is to allow a 3:00 check in and 11:00 check out (they are set at 4:00 and 10:00 respectively); for the price per night, these hours were inconvenient.

Wonderful for our family vacation

Totem House was perfect for our 3-generation family ski trip. The house was clean and cozy. There was plenty of space for our group of 9 adults and 2 kids to spread out while also coming together for meals, games, and relaxing in front of the TV / fireplace. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, which worked out well for home-cooked meals. The proximity to town and the short walk to the Nordic Center were ideal. If we had to pick on anything, the mattresses could use updating. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful experience in Crested Butte

Our first trip to Crested Butte- we loved it! At first I was concerned about staying in town instead of on the mountain, but it turned out to be perfect for our group. The town with its restaurants, shops and galleries was just a small bridge walk across the delightful Coal Creek. A shuttle to the mountain was very close by and we tremendously enjoyed both town and hiking on the mountain. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable but big enough to give everyone plenty of space. The kitchen, great room and deck were lovely gathering areas for our family of 4 couples. We did not really cook but the kitchen is completely equipped and well stocked. I hope we can return soon!

Wonderful House

We visit Crested Butte annually and this was the best house we've stayed in yet. The home itself was very clean and well appointed with nice amenities. We were a group of nine and there was plenty of room for everyone, with a little to spare. We could have fit 2-3 more people and still not felt crowded. The property is a block from town and two blocks-ish from the bus to the mountain. We had both skiers and non-skiers in our party, and everyone was really happy with the location. The property management team was cheerful, responsive, and helpful. We will definitely book this property again if it is available.

The home is in great condition. Everything was functioning. Lots of humidifiers was extremely helpful. The kitchen had an excellent selection of cookware, dishes and glassware. It has several seating areas which worked well for 3 families with teens. The beds aren’t super comfortable but that would not stop us from staying in this home again. The proximity to Elk Ave and the town bus, the size of the home and views of the Butte make this an excellent choice for winter or summer.

We enjoyed 2 weeks in CB the location was perfect. The heart of town. The home has plenty of room and was in great condition. We enjoyed playing pool, sitting on the deck, and quick access to everything. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

The Totem House is a beautiful home, convenient to town and comfortable for a crowd. We had 12 people staying and many other people stopping by and hanging out and it was perfect! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the nessecities, the bedrooms are comfortable with tons of storage space and the outside porch provides perfect views of Crested Butte. We were literally minutes (walking) from town for our morning coffee and donuts. We were there for our son's wedding and the Totem House was THE PERFECT PLACE to stay!

Great big house in an awesome location!

We had a group of 13 people (4 different families) stay in this house together for a wedding weekend and it was perfect. The house is one block away from Elk and getting to places in town is so easy! The rooms were all very nice and there is plenty of space for everyone. Overall we had ZERO complaints about the house and we are so glad we decided to stay here. Absolutely would recommend to other people :)
