Legacy Point is a beautiful cabin on a stunning lot on an incredible lake. Little Sissabagama Lake is a private 325 acre lake with crystal clear water. It is a great lake for boating, fishing and kayaking as you have many private bays and a few islands.

The home has large wood beams and is laid out for great living space on the main level. It has an unbelievable screen porch that runs the entire width of the home. The yard is perfect elevation to get those expansive lake views and great sunsets. There is a large fire pit and space large enough for yard games. There is a cool beach house at lake side that has a Murphy bed, small frig, table that is adjacent to a nice swim area along the private shoreline. It has 300 ft of shoreline on 8.5 acres of land so it is super private. The home has 4 traditional bedrooms in the main home with other bed areas being an adorable beach house with a Murphy bed and a large screen porch with a twin bed. In the lower level there is a pool table and laundry. The large kitchen and dining area with a huge attached screen porch that you will love. We have 2 wood fireplaces in the cabin. There is 300 ft of private shoreline on a large lot (8 acres) with a great yard for games and a large fire pit with great lake views.

Things To Do
Visitors to Legacy point will love swimming at Little Siss with its firm, sandy lake floor and crystal-clear water. Little Sissabagama lake covers 325 acres and is populated by many small, uninhabited islands to explore and coves and bays where fish like to hide. This location is a certified Musky fishing lake, and is also home to sun fish, bass and walleye.

Guests may also want to explore the nearby town of Stone Lake, where they will find quaint shops and local restaurants.

Cute Cabin in the Woods
Our family of all ages had an overall, lovely stay at this charming, cabin in the woods. Positives: We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks and used them every day. The lake is beautiful and we caught plenty of fish. We had s'mores around the campfire which had plenty of seating. The screened in porch screened in porch is gorgeous and we enjoyed time out there playing games and puzzles(bring your own games). The kitchen had most of the essentials needed to cook for our large family. We also ventured to Hayward, which is just 30 minutes away, where there is shopping, the lumberjack show and many dining options. Cons: It could use a deep cleaning. For example, the fan in one of the bedrooms was very thick with dust, areas like behind the TV and underneath the kitchen island and stove were also very dirty and dusty. We contacted the management company because we were left with 2 garbage bags for the week. They responded within the hour that they would bring us some the next day, however we did not receive them until a full 48 hours later. The basement wasn't great. It smelled musty including the sheets and blankets. The ping pong table had one broken paddle and 1 broken ping pong ball. All of the tips on the pool cues were also missing. The chairs around the dining room table we incredibly uncomfortable. We play a lot of games as a family and the chairs made it difficult to spend much time sitting in them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank for sharing your home!

Perfect!
We loved this beautiful and well appointed home! There was plenty of room for the ten of us to spread out. The porch was huge and fabulous! We really enjoyed using the canoe. We had lots of fun and caught plenty of fish. Great memories! We would stay here again.

Fabulous Cabin, Fabulous Location
This property was exactly what we were looking for in an "UpNorth" cabin for our annual trip. Beautiful lake and view, nicely appointed, great fireplace, fantastic screened-in porch. A bonus was the hike, bike, ski, and snowshoe trail a mile down the road. Our dog LOVED it!

Life is good on Little Siss
From the call of loons to mist lifting from the lake, the setting is idyllic. And the house, especially the porch, just settles the soul. Sleeping in the Boathouse was a wonderful, quiet, adventure, too. Thanks to all who make this possible.
