Two separate living areas allow for privacy for multi-family groups or a separate hang out area for teens. Fully equipped with lake toys: dock with large platform and benches, 2 canoes, 3 kayaks, paddle boat. Sunset views. Lakeside firepit and Adirondack chairs. Flat lot with plenty of space to set up corn hole or other lawn games. Basketball hoop in the back. Newly renovated kitchen with dishwasher. Large island for entertaining & plenty of seating. Gas grill. Inside you will find two separate living areas with smart TVs streaming broadcast stations. Very strong WIFI (400g) for streaming and all of your devices. DVD player & movies for rainy days + plenty of board games. Regulation size corn hole / bean bag set.

Occupancy: Sawyer County has implemented new occupancy limits which impact all short-term rentals for bookings taken after June 2025. If you are having trouble finding a property large enough for your group, this is why! They have limited occupancy based on size of septic system. My limit is now 8 overnight guests. However, I am upgrading my septic system in October 2025 and have confirmed with Sawyer County that my occupancy limit will increased to 12 after that is done. If you are booking for winter 2025 and have a group of 8 - 12, please inquire and I will confirm whether I can accept your group.

PARKING: Gravel driveway (3 vehicles), cement area (3 vehicles), 1 dock for guest use where you can tie off two boats. 4 wheel drive recommended in winter as the driveway is a hill. Snow mobilers - contact me to discuss parking if you have multiple trailers and additional vehicles. Trailer parking is also available at the LCO casino.

My family is from the Hayward area. We have been renting properties from VRBO for years and decided to buy our own. But, alas! Until retirement, we will not be able to use this property every day. We will be renting it out until then.
Why they chose this property
This property has two separate living spaces, a main cabin built in the 1970's and an efficiency apartment added over the attached garage built in 2003. With three adult sons and a teenager, I felt that the efficiency apartment would be a perfect space for them which would also allow for privacy for multi family renters. The flat lot is perfect for older guests who are not comfortable with stairs and it also allows for lawn games such as corn hole. Last but not least, the sunset view! It's perfect.
What makes this property unique
Two bunk rooms for kids. Lots of room for guests with multiple seating, dining and bedding options. So many cabins for rent have room for only a few guests to sit in the living room or to dine at the table inside. I made sure that large family groups will be comfortable here.
