A-frame with spectacular views of the Ten Mile Range

Welcome to BareNecessitiesBreck! This cozy A-frame, perched on a hillside just outside of Breckenridge, offers breathtaking views of the Ten Mile Range and Breckenridge Ski Resort. This unique mountain home has two separate living areas and an outdoor deck providing ample space to share with your family and friends. Relax in the hot tub and soak up the views! You'll have easy access to five of Colorado's iconic ski areas - Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mt, A Basin, and Loveland. In the summer, you can enjoy mountain biking trails, hiking, fishing, and boating at nearby Dillon Reservoir. Downtown Breckenridge is a quick three mile bike or drive, where you can enjoy excellent restaurants and shopping. There are a couple of video security cameras located in the front and rear of the home. Our guests are welcome to unplug these, we do ask that they reconnect them when they checkout. Please come and enjoy all that Summit County has to offer!

Beautiful house! Like other reviews have said- its MUCH bigger than it looks in the photos. The upstairs did get a bit warm for sleeping, but we just opened some doors to help cool it off.

Perfect getaway in a real ginger house

Beautiful mountain views, spacious and cozy. This is our second time staying here, and we love it. Just 10 minutes from the ski area.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful time, the house is very cozy and cute. It is bigger than it looks and slept 10 of us comfortably. Hot tub was great after a day of skiing! Only about 5 min to the slopes and downtown. James was a great host and very communicative. Would love to visit again!

Great place!

This house was so comfortable and roomy for our group of 8. The deck provides outstanding views and the hot tub was large. Wonderful place to stay!

A-Frame Beauty

This is our fourth time as a group of friends and families staying at this house. The proximity to downtown Breckenridge and local hikes is ideal. The hosts are welcoming and very responsive. This year, we stayed in early October and got to enjoy the view of the aspens changing right from the back deck.

Quaint Vacation Home with Stunning Views!

This quaint A-frame home is just the cutest! The views of the mountains from the backyard deck were simply breathtaking. The hosts were very responsive to any questions that we had and made our stay feel like a home away from home. I would highly recommend!

The best stay in breck!

Absolutely loved the charming house, the amenities and thoughtfulness brought on by the hosts. We cooked dinners, played games, and got lost in the views. Would recommend and WILL come back again!

We had simply the best weekend at this cute little house! Despite some craziness with car problems, we felt right at home the entire time we were here! A Frame Getaway

A great Labor Day Weekend getaway

We booked this rental earlier in the summer season. Everything about the rental was to our liking. The location north of downtown Breckenridge was the perfect driving distance to all the activities we were able to enjoy, chiefly hiking, shopping, dining and Gondola riding. The hosts were very gracious; we would stay here again. Thanks :)

Amazing property!

If I could rate higher I would! This house was perfect for our family of 9! The location was great, just a few minutes from Main St and even had some space for the kids to play in the snow. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. The views were amazing! The hosts were extremely friendly and their communication was greatly appreciated. We would definitely book this property again.

Love this place!

I was so excited to book an A frame home and this home exceeded my expectations. It’s large on the inside and has everything a family needs. We stayed for a wedding a mix of adults, children and two dogs. We will definitely be back. The views are beautiful and it was such a peaceful and pleasant stay. Check-in, check-out and communication was all very easy. Highly recommend.

Ski trip

Everything was perfect. The view was spectacular. The kitchen was nicely stocked to prepare meals. Very spacious for three families. It was so nice to soak In The hot tub after a day in the slopes. Beds were comfortable. I appreciated clear simple instructions from the owners. Would visit again :)

Great family winter trip

We had a nice time up with our our 5 kids (ages 4-11) room layout worked well for us. Driveway is tricky but parking at top made for no issues for us with our couple SUVs even with a nice winter storm dropping in. The house is wonderfully simple and basic and could use a few updates for appliances and maybe another snow shovel, but very cozy and the kids loved it!

Adorable A-Frame

This is an amazing A-Frame. It has incredible views of the mountains. The decorating is gorgeous. Tons of little touches like a tea and coffee station and other treats. Great wood burning stove fireplace. Our family had fun foosball competitions in the basement. Perfect place to relax after a long day of skiing. We had a magical time.

Our family have lived in Colorado since the early 80's and just love it here. Our kids have grown up but still live close by and like to ski and hike and do all the things that the Colorado mountains have to offer.

Why they chose this property

We call it BareNecessities because it checks all the buttons for us but is not pretentious. We have fallen in love with this cozy, quirky home. Close to all the activities that Summit County has to offer. Making memories is what this place is all about!
