Treat yourself to a one-of-a-kind overnight experience in our elegant and beautiful cottage. Sapphire is a 1 bedroom, nestled among trees and sits on Historic Estate grounds. This luxurious cottage is furnished with a king bed, luxury linens, stylish furnishings and offers an open floor plan and oversized bathroom with an accessible shower. The living area is equipped with a kitchenette, which includes a microwave, bar sink, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, smart TV, dinette, and has a large attached deck that overlooks the beautiful Estate Views.

Great location and cute cozy tiny home!

Nice place! Perfect for two people and close to downtown and fun things to do. Only downside was the train tracks right behind us but wasn’t too loud.

My husband and I were en route back home, and looking for a safe place to stop for the night. Sapphire Cottage was a delightful and welcome place to land. Management was prompt in response and attentive to our needs - and even facilitated an absolutely scrumptious charcuterie tray for our arrival. Profound thanks to your team for such an easy, straightforward and safe experience.

Second Time and Looking Forward to Many More

Every anniversary, we cherish the opportunity to get away. This year, even though we couldn't venture far, the first place that sprang to mind within driving distance was the River West Resort cottages. It was our second time staying here, and the charm and comfort were just as captivating, if not more. The property is impeccably maintained, offering a serene and quiet ambiance. It's the perfect respite from the daily grind, providing a refreshing escape. For anyone considering a visit to Reno or even Lake Tahoe, I can't recommend River West Resort cottages enough. Their prime location ensures everything is close by, from local attractions to dining options, allowing guests to immerse in the city's vibrancy and then retreat to a peaceful sanctuary. We are already looking forward to visiting soon.

Cozy, clean, cottage

The Gemstone Cottages are wonderful. Don’t be discouraged by the RV park. The cottages themselves are located in a gated area that is serene, well taken care of and quiet. The train didn’t even bother us. Would 100% stay again.

Almost perfect!

We loved the location, grounds, tiny house! Very clean and stylish. We would most likely choose this over a hotel any day! We had one issue and it was an important one. We had no hot water in the shower. We let is run for a while to see if that's what it needed. Nope. When we called the after hours line, there was no answer. I took a half a shower and had to rinse my soapy hair in the sink. A shower is a must for your stay. We did mention it to the office when we checked out, so hopefully they will crank up the water heater!! We would definitely stay again with a guarantee of hot water!!

Great Staycation

I live in Reno and wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday while still being safe. The cottage was a great way to get out of the house for a bit and feel like we were on vacation for a night. The process was smooth, cottage was clean, and customer service was great. The train noise wasn't expected, but overall didn't disturb us too much. It was a nice little staycation for us.

Stunning getaway!

We were married here in 2009. The property has only gotten more beautiful. From the moment I made the reservation to the moment we checked out, the hospitality was on point. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We can not wait to visit again!!
