About the host
Hosted by Colin & Ania
We’re Colin & Ania — Seattle-based hosts who created The Riverfront Chalet as a shared creative outlet and a place where nature, comfort, and thoughtful design come together. After years spent in tech and healthcare, we found ourselves drawn to creating something more personal: a place where people could slow down, reconnect, and make meaningful memories. What began as a weekend escape became a true labor of love. Hosting has grown into one of the most rewarding parts of our lives, and we love sharing this special corner of the Cascades with guests.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this peaceful stretch of Leavenworth because it offers something rare: a true sense of calm without feeling remote. Chiwawa River Pines is tucked among the river, forest, and mountains, with easy access to Lake Wenatchee, Plain, Stevens Pass, and downtown Leavenworth. The setting feels quiet, spacious, and grounding — the kind of place where you naturally breathe a little deeper and settle in. From the sound of the river to the surrounding pines and wildlife, it felt like the right place to create something special.
What makes this property unique
The Riverfront Chalet sits on over half an acre of private riverfront property with panoramic views, thoughtful outdoor spaces, and a level of care guests consistently notice. Inside, you’ll find a warm, design-forward space with soaring windows, spa-inspired bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, luxury linens, and smart-home conveniences that make every stay easy and comfortable. Outside, guests can enjoy the covered deck, fire circle, yard games, and peaceful river setting. We like to think of it as equal parts adventure basecamp and restorative hideaway.
