Just what we needed

This was the perfect girls weekend getaway. The view was amazing and the condo had all the amenities we needed. It was really nice to have 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms for the three of us. The beds were very comfy and there were plenty of blankets and pillows. We also loved that we were able to walk to at least one restaurant and an ice cream stand. The internet was weak and unstable but overall this place was exactly what we needed!

The location was perfect. The condo was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The bathrooms tubs were filthy and the bed linen looked questionable. Besides all of that everything worked and the view was amazing.

We loved the condo! Great appliances, beautiful views! The only problem we ran into was that we could not access our data plans on our iPhones and were forced to use the unsecure WiFi to access the internet. This was concerning as this has never been a problem with our annual visits to bahama sands condos. We had to walk out to the beach to use our secure data plan to pay a bill , etc…

It was exactly as described. The only issue I had while there was the oven rack was missing and there seemed to be an electrical issue in the middle bedroom. But they did replace it the day we left. It is not soundproof so you could hear the upstairs neighbors. But it was perfectly located on the beach. We loved our stay and would highly recommend

Everything was good with the exception of the free attraction tickets. I messaged them and they were checking in it the first night of our stay. I never heard back from them. So…when you see free attraction tickets, that’s NOT true.

Overall we had great stay

The room was comfortable and spacious for the 5 of us. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Having the 5th floor pool across the hallway would have been great if the water wasn’t so cold, but it was convenient. Outside pools, lazy river and hot tubs were clean and warm. We were aware there could still be some repairs happening, but those must have finished on time. Our room was clean as far as the ‘important’ areas, (the baseboards could use alittle attention when dusting). We had every intention of booking this same condo for next year(same week), but the price has almost doubled :(

Could’ve been better!

The only good things about this place was the view and the amount of ppl that could have been comfortably accommodated. To start, the place was covered with gnats. They were everywhere, EVERYDAY of our stay! The tv remote didn’t work. We had to Google how to reprogram it ourself or we wouldn’t have ever been able to use it. After both of those things, I reached out to Vacasa and they said they’d reach out to the “local team”, but no one ever contacted us after that until we had checked out! After the complaint (with pictures) was sent, we found little curly hairs in one of the showers and the shower curtain was dirty and torn at the bottom. We were very upset that none of the windows could be opened, and that we couldn’t turn the AC off and open the balcony door. It was very stuffy since there was no circulating air. The check in process lacked a lot of communication! We had no idea that there wasn’t going to be a front desk to ask our questions to. We didn’t know if we had specific parking spots, or where to park to get unloaded. All the information we received in our email was to always have the parking passes displayed in our car window. We finally had to randomly pick a place to park and chanced that the parking passes would be in our room. Thankfully, they were. Overall, if you just want a nice view- stay here. If you want a good value for your money- definitely DON’T stay here!! We will not be back, and may not use this service again!

The room was nice. Upon entering the master bathroom, it smelled like urine. There were a couple of cockroaches and the handle to the balcony door was loose and ended up falling off. Some of the dishes were not clean. Overall, it was a nice stay and we would stay there again.

PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY

I've been to the Bahama Sands a few times when it was another name and it is probably my favorite place on the beach. Not the most luxurious but the most useful for us. I love that every bedroom has a bathroom, that it is ocean front and has all the amenities I'm looking for i.e. full kitchen, washer/dryer -- very clean and the combo lock is so much easier to keep track of than keys or cards to get in and out. I will most likely stay again next summer as my family comes from Chicago each year to spend time with me in North and South Carolina.
