Treat yourself to a one-of-a-kind overnight experience in our elegant and beautiful cottage. Onyx is a 1 bedroom, nestled among trees and sits on Historic Estate grounds. This luxurious cottage is furnished with luxury linens, stylish furnishings and offers an open floor plan with two lofts, two queen beds, a large closet, and oversized bathroom with an accessible shower. The living area is equipped with a microwave, farmhouse sink, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, smart TV, and has a large attached deck that overlooks the beautiful maintained Elm Estate property.

Really nice stay. Interior like brand new. Many nice touches...wish were able to stay longer but we had to be on our way. Would highly recommend!

Very clean and welcoming

Perfect short getaway! Stayed for one night, location is close to grocery stores. We picked up food to cook and just enjoyed a simple night in. The property is very nice and quiet.

Graduation road trip weekend

Cottage was in excellent condition and in a peaceful serene setting.Upon arrival i thought there was an issue and the facilities team showed up immediately, turns out it was an error on my part they were really gracious in pointing it out. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Reno

This tiny house was perfect for our stopover in Reno. The house is clean and well-maintained and the outdoor area is beautiful. The location is near enough to downtown and the casinos, but the setting is green, quiet and lovely.

We loved,loved our stay at your property. It was very clean and pretty inside. The grounds were very pretty. Our 11yr old loved following the trails and doing cartwheels in the grass. We enjoyed the fire pit area. Especially after you quickly helped us figure out the on button. Only one thing. We noticed the bottom of our socks getting dirty really fast from the floors.??

Tiny mighty home

We've always stayed at hotels or condos when visiting Reno. This was our first time back for Hot August Nights in years and our first experience staying in a tiny home. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed it!! Accommodations were wonderful and not far the main strip of Virginia St. They even had their own car show and Food Truck gathering at the Estate grounds of the resort. It was a nice surprise not to have to go so far our first day to just walk over and enjoy the festivities. We would definitely be back to stay. The staff at River West Resort were super friendly and nice! Thank you for making our stay there comfortable and enjoyable. Absolutely loved it!

Misleading listing

This is a small one bedroom mobile home with a loft while listing says two bedroom. Also the loft's height is extremely low making it almost impossible to be used by any adult above 5'5".

Tiny House Big Vacation

We have always been curious about living in a tiny home and this cottage was anything but tiny. It was a perfect size for our family of 4. My wife and I got the 1 bedroom and each of my daughters got a separate loft all to themselves! It was a good home base for our Reno/Tahoe vacation and the neighborhood was super quiet. The check-in process was super easy and the property owners were very clear with their instructions and procedures. Because it's a regular turn key for the entrance, I would recommend putting it on your car keys so you don't lose them as there is a fee for lost keys, and you don't want to be locked out when it's 20 degrees outside. It was a great experience that we loved and would definitely come back again and recommend our friends and family to stay in these cottages as well. It has also convinced us to look into tiny house living in the future.

A quite spot

It was a pretty quite spot. Really nice and clean. There’s only seating for 2 people though where the TV is. There’s no cookware really, two small pots and a frying pan. The coffee stuff was good. The refrigerator is nice. Lots of outlets and sinks. The beds are soft, slept great. We did have to kill a decent amount of ants though. Overall good.

Great clean place

The house we stayed in was clean and modern. First time we stayed in a "tiny house" and it was pretty cool. The place was easy to find and easy to get to from the freeway and close to downtown Reno. Would recommend.

Very nice unit. Inside is so new and clean and the outside is comfortable for relaxing around the fire. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook. I would most definitely stay here again.

The Perfect Tiny House

What a charming cottage by the river! This was the perfect spot for a little ladies getaway. While the space is small it is well appointed and beautifully decorated. The full size fridge, double sinks and breakfast items/snacks were much appreciated.

Wonderful property

Beautiful high end home

This rental is an oasis in the city! Close to all of Reno’s attractions but tucked away in a calm and beautiful setting among tress and beautiful landscaping. The home is the perfect size for a family with a large kitchen for cooking you own meals or stocking food and drinks in the fridge. The large shower is wonderful and the beds and linens are extremely comfortable! The loft rooms were fun for the kids too. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and even caught a band rehearsal at the main house which was lovely to hear. We met the owner and she was incredibly nice and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again!
