Our home is perched above the street giving you a feeling of seclusion and the best mountain view you could ask for!!
The cabin sits on the highest point of the corner and the view of the ridgeline and the Lake Gregory is breathtaking!, there is no neighbor looking over you!! The step up fully stocked kitchen and the dining area over looking the living room with 55" ROKU TV connected to the home theater system is great for those game/fight nights!!
There is wood burning stove in the living room is perfect for those winter nights!!
The master bedroom has 46" Sony Bravia TV with Fire stick. And Serta adjustable (Head tilt) bed.
The downstair room has computer desk/chair for those who needs to work or homework to get done and get connected with office/class etc. There is fast Wifi throughout the house.
Kids will love their HIDDEN LOFT access via Heaven Gate!! (not in the picture, let them discover it!!)
The brand new concrete driveway, retaining wall and multiple safety rails construction just barely done in Dec 2020.
The long and sloping side yard is perfect for sledding in snowy days!! (see pic). We just added the additional safety fence on Jan 2021.
The spacious backyard is great for the kids and it's rarely find in mountain area.
The 80' foot long driveway accommodate 4 cars or 3 full size trucks.

***Special notice***
Since the mountain house is in the nature, there are many wild animals in the area. So, trash bags can't be leaving outside. All the trash bags including the trash bags from the restroom must be placed in the trash bins located bottom of the driveway.

The house is nice just 2 things, not enough utensils for a family of 7, the back of the house was not clean for my kids to enjoy it, but I'm sure he's going to work on it, I don't want them to take it the wrong way, there are always improvements,, thank you for letting us use your cabin I wou love to go back and enjoy it soon

We stayed for 2 nights in search of snow and sledding. While there wasn’t snow at the house we went to Snowdrift for sledding which was close, reasonably priced and so fun! The kids LOVED the hidden loft and play room. Lots of stairs so no issue getting your steps in!! The house had almost everything you could need. Ye was very easy to contact and quick to respond. TVs all set with Roku or Fire TV (Bluey may come up In your search!), a Christmas tree was lit and the fireplace made for cozy nights. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Excellent cabin experience !

My family and I spent two nights at this beautiful cabin! It was spacious and had various locations to hang out inside and outside! The view was gorgeous and the whole setting itself was peaceful. It was a much needed getaway. We spent quality time at a quality place! I loved the comfort of the main queen size bed and my family members also said that they slept very well in the other beds. I would definitely recommend staying at this place to others and even going back in the future!

New years

Let me start this off by saying Ye is the best host!! The place is so nice and we loved the view overlooking the lake. There were pretty strong winds the last few days and we ended up losing internet :(. We were not able to get internet back and ended up ringing in the New Year next to the fire playing Yatzee, we could not have asked for a better start to our New Year even though the Internet went out and we never got it back it was still the best weekend. He made sure that we were safe and was in constant communication with me about getting the Internet back up and I know he did everything he could shy of going up the mountain and fixing it himself. 10/10 would stay again!!

It was a very comfortable cabin and a great first time experience. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups, pots, utensils, they even had a crock pot and rice cooker. I do warn you tho, there are a lot of stairs inside and out. Learn how to use the thermostat, it’s got cold at night.

Cozy place to stay.

We enjoyed staying at this property. We had everything that we needed to stay comfortable there. It was a plus having A/C there as well. The temperature during August is brutal. The kids loved the secret room. It took them a while to find it but once they did, they were in and out of that thing for the whole time we were there. I like the location and how you can see the lake directly from there. We will look forward to staying again!

I had a problem contacting to owner regarding a fire in the area. I did not get a "call back".

The property was ok. We had some problems with ants in the kitchen. We were concerned with a fire in the area and smoke that prevented us from fishing. I called the owner and he never responded. It could have been an issue if there is a major fire. I do not know the protocols in the area. I should have gotten a response to give me some assurance that he is worried about my family's safety. I called and texted him but no response.

Hi Alex, sorry to say that i did not receive any call or text from you during your stay. The only text i received from your was you texted me 9:42am the day you checked in and you were asking me to check in in the morning and which was not possible, because there were guest checked out same day and my house keeping was cleaning the house. But still you were able to check in by 2pm which is an hour earlier than normal check in time in high season. Also during your stay of June 27 -June 30 there was no fire alert at all in our area. No smoke in the lake area as well because Crestline fire station is right across from the lake. I care about all my guest, you can read the review from other guest, i drove 60 miles from my primary house to the cabin to help the family whose car was stuck in the snow, i took the family to grocery store etc. You maybe calling from the area there is no receptions so i did not receive any call or text from you. I can provide the screen shot from phone or even from my phone bill which registered all incoming and outgoing calls. Your calls never came through.

The house was really comfortable and larger than the photos would lead you to believe. The kitchen is well stocked and all linens were immaculately clean. We ran into a small hiccup with an unexpected power outage (locals told us it happens with some frequency) and Ye was very quick to communicate with us and help us problem solve! It was a great stay and we look forward to visiting again!

I love the nature and have been renting different cabins through out northern and southern California mountains. And i always thought about owning one and finally happened in 2019.

Why they chose this property

This property sits on top of the hill in the corner and there is no neighbor over looking our cabin. And there is long driveway that accommodate multiple cars. And the VIEWS!! I've looked different cabins in Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, Idyllwild etc. and i've chosen Crestline because of very convenient to commute and much less traffic in winter season compare to Big Bear, and i love the small town atmosphere.

What makes this property unique

Very easy to commute, nice hiking trail and there is full size supermarket is 1.5 mile away. Bowling center, skate park, 7/11, gas station, McDonald, Subway, Mexican restaurant, Pizza, hardware store all are within 1.5 mile distance.
