About this property

Waterfront home w/Private Dock & Beach on Lake Wequaquet, Centerville, Cape Cod

Escape to this idyllic air-conditioned private vacation retreat with 3,400 square feet of living space located on beautiful Lake Wequaquet, the Cape's largest freshwater lake (700 acres). Included is a 48-foot private dock for your boat and/or jet ski. Great swimming at private beach, along with water skiing, kayaking and fishing (rental includes two kayak's). Watch the sunset from the beach and dock and toast marshmallows in the firepit.

There is a large, screened porch with an eating area for sun-filled breakfasts and candlelight dinners overlooking large backyard with rolling green lawn leading down to beach area. Deck and Outdoor shower with dressing area.

The first floor has a front to back living room with sliders to deck, a bedroom with cathedral ceiling, Queen bed and sliders to deck, a den with cathedral ceiling, and a large kitchen/dining room with gas stove, and seating for 10, and a 1/2 bathroom and Washer and Dryer. Second floor has spectacular master suite with King bed, bathroom, and sliders to a rooftop deck with views of the lake. Third bedroom contains King bed and desk, fourth bedroom contains Queen bed, and fifth bedroom contains a Bunkbed and Twin bed.

House has a Generac whole-house standby backup generator so that the house will never be without power.

Our property offers the best of both worlds: quiet relaxing lakefront living and nearby shopping at the unique shops of Osterville and Hyannis. Ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are a quick 10-minute drive. Popular Craigville Beach and Keyes Memorial Beach are just 4 miles away.

Settled in 1680 Centerville is a charming New England village with a General Store and the famous Four Seas Ice Cream.

Great house, Great location

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Carney home. The location is perfect with direct access to the Lake and close proximity to some of the best beaches and other attractions on the Cape. We spent the mornings kayaking and playing in the lake, then hit the beach in the afternoon. The house feels like a real home rather than the typical Cape rental… and the master suite is awesome!

Property is perfect for families. House is well equipped. There are several minor improvements and repairs that are suggested. Renter must have own linens or rent. Overall, we loved the house and its location. Perfect for family vacations. The owner was amazing and very responsive.

We have used VRBO to rent a lot of houses over the years and this is one of the best we have rented. The owner is great with communication and check in process was flawless. The home is meticulous and the gathering space in the home is plentiful, both indoor and outdoor. The home is so well equipped with kitchen needs, you don't have to worry about not having anything, is is well equipped. I will rent this again without a doubt

Great spot

Our family had an awesome time during our stay. The house and property are beautiful and the location is very convenient. Our favorite spot to hang out was definitely the large screened in porch!
