Great Gateway for a Ladies Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of options for relaxing and socializing as well as a table for all to share a meal. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Many if us spent time just admiring the view both from inside and on the deck. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we cooked all of our meals comfortably in it.

We love this place

Hank & Lucy’s Beach house is a home away from home. We loved it so much last year we booked it again for this year. The beds are comfy, the kitchen has everything you need, the kayaks were the highlight of our time there, and the deck is a comforting spot for a quiet morning cup of coffee. Thank you so much for letting us come back!!

A wonderful beachfront house for families!

This home is comfortable, adorable, and set in a beautiful location! The kayaks and hot tub were a hit for our family and we loved making a fire and watching the harbor seals in the evening. We loved our stay at Hank and Lucy’s beach house. Such an amazing time!

Girls Getaway

We’ve met every January for six years to catch up and relax. Everyone agrees this was one of the best spots yet. Clean, roomy, comfy & cozy. No need for TV - watching the tide ebb & flow was entrancing. Kitchen well-stocked and our hosts were extremely accomodating. Highly recommend!

Excellent house!

Our family of seven stayed over Christmas and the home was decorated with multiple trees and decorations throughout. We enjoyed everything about the home and location. Emily was great accommodating us for an early arrival and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Family Retreat

This spotless home has everything you could wish for and more! It was the perfect location for a family vacation with activities for all ages and a stunning new kitchen! Emily was responsive and so accommodating. It is a very private and peaceful place to enjoy the sound!

Amazing family vacation on the beach

We had an amazing trip to Allyn. The house has everything you need. It is well stocked with towels, kayaks, life jackets, buckets and kids toys. Our kids loved beach combing when the tide was low. The best part was having our morning coffee in the hot tub! The hosts were extremely responsive. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect weekend getaway!

We loved our waterfront weekend stay! We had never been to Allyn and fell in love with the quaint little town. We knew that the house was going to be walkable to town but had no idea that it would be walkable by beach! It was so lovely taking the kids and dogs to town in the matter of minutes. Between the views, the beach and the hot tub our two families (kids age almost 2, 4 , 6 and dogs) were in heaven! We will be back!

Nice clean home with a lovely beach

The home was very clean, comfortable, and nice. The hosts provided everything we needed. Check in was a breeze, and we had a great stay. The grill wasn’t working properly, and the hosts immediately brought over a new one, which was great because we packed a lot of food to grill. It is close to a busy road, so if you’re a light sleeper, pack earplugs because the rooms on the road side are a bit noisy if you have the windows open (which you need to do on hot days).

Perfect Getaway

This beach house was the perfect getaway for our family and friends. The house had enough space, bedrooms, beds and baths for 6 of us to be comfortable. All the beds are super comfy and the linens very nice. The gathering spaces, living room, dining and outdoor space enough for everyone to be together. The firepit at the beach got a lot of use on the cool evenings, but there were lots of blankets. The owners were more than accommodating and the house had everything we needed to cook! Overall 5 stars, a very nice place for a beach getaway. Definitely recommend to others!

Girls Getaway Heaven

AMAZING!!! The location is perfect,views are heaven, the layout was fun, kitchen fully stocked, firepit so fun, bedding was perfect, beds comfortable, just really fun. only need to watch head on upstairs bathroom beam. We were so impressed. i will book this again. sad we didn't get to enjoy the kayaks. It is fun walking to town and down the beach. great hosts! i have rented many houses, never have had a kitchen this fully stocked. ( minus wine opener). book this place, you won't be disappointed!!

Beautiful Beach House

We really enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Getaway! The property was a perfect fit for our group of 8-privacy and a bed for everyone. The common areas were spacious and inviting! Plus, the home decor and finishes gave us the feeling of a high-end property-truly beautiful and everything you need. Then there is the beach! A fantastic inlet for kayaking and beachcombing. enough kayaks for our group, comfortable outdoor eating and lounging space and a hot tube for the win! This property ticked all of our boxes! The owner's response was above and beyond when we needed it-very nice family. I recommend this property and plan to return some day-do note there is some road noise.

Great space for a girls weekend

With 5 women we loved having our own beds (one shared room). Comfortable hanging out spaces - kitchen table, family room, outdoor dining table, hot tub, covered seating and awesome adirondak chairs for the fire pit. We appreciated the in room air conditioners. Having 2 bathrooms was great. We enjoyed walking to dinner for Mexican and seafood. We didn't anticipate the tides affecting the water levels. Not a big deal unless you want to swim or kayak immediately off the property. All around great place for a girls weekend! Owner was a great communicator and responsive.

Nicely Appointed Waterfront Home

We celebrated my mother-in-law's 87th birthday with my brother-in-law & his wife in this well-stocked, nicely-decorated home. The views from the house, large back deck, and backyard were very relaxing, and we spent time combing the beach at low tide. We enjoyed the hot tub, beautifully-landscaped backyard, and comfy Adirondack chairs by the fire pit. There was some road noise, but it was muffled by turning on the portable fans provided in each bedroom. The hostess (Emily) responded with lightening speed when I had a question. 5-STARS!

Retirement Party

Several friends and I rented the house to celebrate my retirement. Plenty of sleeping choices. All the rooms were beautifully decorated. Several of us brought our own kayaks and with the ones our host provided everyone was able to go out. We saw Sealions and Herons while we were there. Some of us had never seen them in real life so it was a great experience for them. The hot tub was a joy after a day of using muscles that don't normally get much exercise. The host were very quick in responding to our messages'. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better weekend or place to enjoy it.

Family Trip

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen is well equipped except we couldn’t find a hand mixer. It is right on a busy highway so traffic noise was a bit if an issue. Also no central AC. Our downstairs bedroom only had a fan and got pretty warm in there. The door out to the patio should really have a screen. The sloped ceiling in the upstairs bathroom was not meant fir tall people.

Outstanding home on the water

This property is a jewel located in Allyn. Besides the beautiful view, private, outdoor area, beach, hot tub. It is equipped with everything you need. We love to cook, and every type of utensil, pan, bowls, etc. was amazing. The beds are super comfortable with beautiful linens. The property manager responded to every request. The only thing that can’t be prevented is the highway is a little loud so if you do not want to be near a busy street, it may not be the best choice. We found it to become a part of the atmosphere and loved location. Highly recommend.

Very comfy beach house!

My family and I really enjoyed this property! It was very clean and stocked with all the necessities and more! Plenty of comfy blankets and towels, extensive kitchen utensils/supplies, bathroom supplies, vacuums, air conditioning, laundry, baby gates, etc. The view is amazing and peaceful, kayaks were a big hit and so wonderful to take out on the water, watching the tide go out and come back in, harbor seals everywhere, herons, birds, and super comfy porch furniture with lovely rails and deck material. The house was very clean with many homey touches that my family really enjoyed and appreciated. The road noise is not bad. Communication was excellent - Emily immediately responded to all our questions. We highly recommend this cozy beach house!

Perfect Getaway!

This property was absolutely perfect for our annual Christmas celebration. We had 6 adults and three teens with us and there was plenty of room for everyone! I can't say enough about the responsiveness of these owners. It was top notch and they were willing to help any way they could to truly make our stay perfect. They even had the house all decorated for Christmas! The kitchen was very well supplied with everything you could possibly need. We've done lots of rentals and this one is definitely one of the best. Walks on the beach and down the pier, hot tubbing, fireplace, and hanging out at the Boathouse were nice amenities. We would definitely stay again...and as a matter of fact, we figured our that the VRBO we have rented in June is through the same owner. I can rest easy now knowing our next experience is without a doubt going to be just as perfect.

Great memories with our extended family!

This beach house is beautifully decorated, easy to find, and the rooms have so much character! Loved the Mrs Meyers Handsoap, the convenient soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser, the s’mores, spam, and microwave popcorn they provided, and abundance of games and toys to keep the littles and teens/preteens busy. My 5 year olds could spend hours playing with the crabs and the older girls collected sand dollars. The sheets were super soft. Emily was great at returning my questions. The hot tub so nice and a great way to soak in the views and watch fireworks on July 9! Which we were not expecting. Make sure to read the handbook through which found out about a nice nearby hike at a wetlands. We had an amazing experience. Thank you Emily!!

So well appointed

I wanted to write to say how impressed I was with what the owners have done with this house. They took an older home and HGTV designed it so it was lovely, but also had everything you could possibly want during your stay available-right down to the extendable Hershey s’more makers. Day one I couldn’t find binoculars-but knew they must be somewhere with all the games and puzzles, blankets and throws, electric tea kettles and plastic wrap etc I found while looking. Then day 2 saw they were out in plain site on the side table. You need binoculars to see the sea lions swimming by as the go to nap on a dock a few blocks down. It was so fun to hear them barking in the distance, but glad the house was not next to the dock. The road through Allyn is very busy, and right behind the house. If you have light sleepers in your party they will need the room with the water view as in the spring, with windows closed, this room can’t really hear the road. For our light sleeper we ran one of the fans provided in each room to add some white noise, and she slept well after night one. The water view, kids room and water ski room are all upstairs where the one bathroom is in the hall for all to access. The blue room is downstairs next to the kitchen, second bath and laundry room. It was nice to walk to the few amenities Allyn has. We walked to coffee along the busy road. (Single file, making sure the dog stays close.) When the tide is out you can walk along the waters edge.

Excellent location! Functional for 10 people staying but no air conditioning in 2 of the 4 bedrooms. Very nice kitchen but the rest of the home was dated and several things needed fixing (i.e. family room fan, laundry room accordion door, master bedroom shade/curtain).

Thanksgiving Holiday

What a refreshing, relaxing stay for our Thanksgiving! We had three generations of family enjoy this lovely property for four nights. I loved walking along the beach at low tide, enjoying the eagles and sea lions over my morning coffee, and warming up in the hot tub while it drizzled outside. We would certainly come back again.

First Lets talk about the reason you are coming... BEACHFRONT!
- Step out of the house and walk a few steps to the BEACH! Perfectly situated on Case Inlet you can enjoy expansive views from the house or while you gather treasures from the beach! Freely walk the beach to the left or the right as far as you can see! High tide and low tide both have lots to offer and so much to explore! Take one of the 6 kayaks out for a relaxing paddle anytime of day! Play games in the lawn or on the deck! Finish off the evening with a bon fire right on the water's edge!

Second... the House! Featuring almost 1800 sqft of freshly remodeled, very spacious and easy living private home!
- Main Floor: The kitchen has 2 islands, counter height and bar height that seats 4 with plenty of counter and cabinet space. Dining room is open to the kitchen and has a large table with 8 chairs and room for more. Living Room has 3 sitting areas; 2 chairs around the propane fireplace, large sectional couch and 2 other chairs. Smart TV with High Speed Internet, no cable. State Room with a queen bed and Full Bathroom with Laundry.
- 2nd Floor: "Captain's" Quarters with a water view, couch and queen bed. "First Mate's" Quarters with a queen bed and rocking chair. "Crew" Quarters with 2 queen beds, games, tv and a doll house (great for kids).

Finally... The Property! Fully fenced (minus the beachfront) for our furry friends! Parking inside the gate for 4 cars comfortably and space for 2 along the road! Walking distance to 4 restaurants, 2 coffee shops, market and Allyn Waterfront Park with playground, pier, boat launch and gazebo! Don't forget to make a tee time at Lakeland Village Golf Course (3 minute drive), and eat at the Lakeside Bistro!
