South Shore Haven - Lake Charleviox Waterfront Condo

A comfortable retreat while enjoying all that Northern Michigan has to offer in every season!

There are three private rooms with spacious kitchen, dining, and living areas for all the family to enjoy. There is also a laundry room and balcony with a gas grill.

Enjoy sunrises on the balcony while you plan the day's adventures to nearby skiing, tubing, rafting, kayaking, swimming, golfing, hiking, beaches, boating, snowmobiling, sight-seeing; the list is endless. Or stay local and enjoy watersports and beach front play on Lake Charlevoix.

Nearby attractions include Charlevoix, Boyne City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Torch Lake and more. East Jordan is only 20 minutes from Boyne Mountain and 30 minutes from Shanty Creek Resort.

Included with the condo is a kayak (use at your own risk of course!).

The unit is on the second floor with elevator access.

We stayed at Lauren’s place when we attended a wedding at the Boathouse. Great location with a beautiful view off the balcony. Squeaky clean, large and comfortable space, with helpful amenities. Good proactive communication as the stairs were under repair (elevator worked just fine). Definitely recommend!

South Shore Haven is a BEAUTIFUL condo !! The decor is lovely and the location on Lake Charlevoix is great. The host (Lauren) communicated well and we had no trouble finding and accessing the condo. I will be recommending this rental to all my friends. Thanks so much Lauren.

Family Vacay

This condo is great. For our family, this is a perfect location to go to all the places we want to visit or “veg”. The property is very clean and contains everything you need for a stay. Our grand kids enjoyed the little beach and the water mat. They thoroughly enjoyed the bunk beds. We would recommend this location for any family. Thank you.

Relaxing Vacation

I stayed here for a week in July with my mom and my 4 boys. The kids had a great time swimming, boating, and fishing. My mom and I enjoyed the quiet location. There are so many things to do nearby, and the condo itself has everything you could need.

This property is absolutely beautiful for a family looking to enjoy one of Northern Michigan’s best kept secret towns. The owners are very professional and kind with all aspects of the rental experience. The unit is very clean and well maintained and has everything needed to enjoy and relax during your stay.

Small Town but still a great location. Lauren was incredibly responsive. We had an initial concern about cleanliness and it was addressed immediately and did not impact our stay in the least. Would recommend.

Beautiful Condo

My husband and I, our adult daughter, and our teenaged grandson just spent several days enjoying this great condo in East Jordan. The condo exactly like it did in the pictures and was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space and lots of storage. The location is great, an easy drive to boat rental, Charlevoix, and Petosky. Lauren was wonderful, answering all my questions quickly and giving us helpful advice. I’m sure we will return to the area and will definitely rent this condo again.

Everything I’ve ever hoped for

Before we arrived we had the best communication with the owner. She was even concerned about our travel day, and gave us the option to call her if we had issues even though we were arriving at 2am. I cannot say enough about her communication and courtesy. The property it’s self was impeccable. Super clean and hospitable. We had all the comforts of home plus…they had beach chairs and towels as well as a cooler and a kayak. THEY THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING! The location was peaceful and so quiet yet we never felt out of place with our family. The views of the lake off the balcony were incredible. We enjoyed our coffee outside every morning! We cannot wait to travel here again and enjoy this awesome place.

Perfect spot for family

This is our third time in this condo location and 2nd time in this specific condo. It’s always perfect. The 3 bedroom condo is roomy and has enough space for my family of 5. We always get groceries from family fare which is a few minutes down the road and stock the fridge but it was nice to see that we didn’t need to get condiments (ketchup, mustard and Mayo bc they had it in the fridge for us). The rooms were great and they had enough towels and blankets. My kids loved the bunk beds and spending the day playing in the lake out back. I used the kayak provided and had a peaceful time alone while my husband watched the kids. It was delightful. We rented boats and jet skis from summertime rentals on two different days for some adventure. Summertime rentals is just few minutes down the road. We enjoyed downtown Charlevoix (about 15 mins from the condo) for the Venetian festival and took a day trip to Mackinac Island (1.5 hour). We met their neighbors who were kind and wonderful. It was a relaxing stay and we feel so lucky to be there and plan on coming back.

We are a young family with 3 fast moving and fast growing kids! We love to have a place in Northern Michigan to escape the daily requirements at home and to enjoy even more of our beautiful state together. We often use our place as an adventure jumping ground for boating, hiking, swimming, visiting breweries, skiing, rock hounding, snowshoeing, tubing, etc.
We love hearing how our guests enjoyed the area as well and look forward to hosting you!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the area and all of the beautiful sights after many visits to Northern Michigan over the years. East Jordan is especially our favorite because it is a quiet town with central access to all of our favorite destinations. It is so easy to unwind here.

What makes this property unique

We love boating and this location has easy access to a boat launch around the corner and the ability to explore for hours. We also like the winter activities of skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, and sledding and we can do all of these from East Jordan.
East Jordan is a quiet town with easy access to multiple vacation destination towns without the crowds at the end of the day.
