About this property

Ocean Side Cape Five Houses from the Beach

This a well maintained two story home which is great for families with kids since it is just a short half block to the beach, two blocks to fantasy Island and Bay village.

The First floor features two bedroom with 32” flat screen TV’s, central air, one bed room has a queen bed and the other with a twin bed and bunk bed that sleeps 3, a bathroom with a shower/tub, large dinning room and living room with a 55” flat panel TV and a Blue Ray DVD player and a sliding door to the patio with a picnic table.

The upper living area consist of a bathroom with a shower stall, washer, dryer, two large bedrooms with individual window air conditioners, cathedral ceilings, there is an upper deck off of the master bedroom with ocean views. The master bedroom has a flat panel 32" TV and a king size bed, the other bedroom has a 32” flat screen TV, queen bed with a bunk bed that sleeps 3.

The outdoor amenities consist of an outdoor shower (with hot and cold water), a gas grill, picnic table that seats 8 people, 4 beach cruisers bicycles, 10 beach chairs, and on-site parking for 2-cars with additional curb side parking in front and we are adjacent to the beach haven bike path. Just park your car and walk a half block to the beach, one block to the school yard with basketball courts, two blocks to Fantasy Island, Bay Village, water slide, shopping, restaurants and many other activities.

Great location. Nicely maintained and updated beach property. Owner was easy to contact and very responsive. Stayed one week with my adult grandchildren and we all loved this house.

Great place and location

We’ve stayed here twice now, and couldn’t ask for a better place and location. Right between the beach and fantasy island. Love it here!

A great location! Close to the beach and Everything Beach Haven has to offer. House could use some updates, but nothing serious as we spent most of our time outside. It was nice to have beach chairs although some are not in working condition. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Perfect location

We loved the house, was located in a perfect location close to everything you could want in a beach house. Beach was right across the street, few blocks away from all the restaurants and ship bottom brewery. House fit 10 of us comfortably with the top bunks still available.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Beach Haven rental! The location couldn’t be better—just a short, easy walk to the beach. We loved that several beach chairs in great condition were provided, along with seasonal beach tags—such a thoughtful touch! The house had everything we needed and more: a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of cookware and tableware, a dishwasher for easy cleanup, a washer and dryer for convenience, a nice BBQ grill for outdoor cooking, a picnic table and even a clean outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach.The home itself is air-conditioned, cozy, and decorated with classic beach charm that makes you feel instantly relaxed. Communication with the host was excellent—friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience seamless. Everything was comfortable, and truly blissful. A BIG thank you to our host! (5/5)

Cleanliness was just okay. There was absolutely no bedding on the beds but for the mattress cover (so don’t go by the photos). The mattress cover on the bed we slept in was covered in sand. The downstairs bathroom didn’t have any non-slip material in the bathtub so I had to be extremely careful while showering. The VRBO listing itself should stipulate that absolutely no linens are provided, not even pillows. When I contacted the owner regarding the linens or lack there of. I was told, it was in the lease. When I reviewed the lease it was all the way down in section 8 of the lease. Yes, this was my fault, but again this type of information should be found in the VRBO listing. Otherwise there were no surprises, the size and bedding fit me and my extended family well. The location was perfect.

Great Location

Awesome property. Loved the location, directly down the street from Fantasy Island and other central areas of Beach Haven. Only about 200 yards from the beach. Plenty of space and 4 bedrooms allowed privacy for all of us. We would definitely rent this property again. My communications with the property manager were good. He was responsive to my many questions. My only issue is that the vrbo website would not allow me to Invite my other family members so that they could view the property prior to arrival. I contacted them but was never able to make that work. Other than that, very happy with the property.

Family stay in Beach Haven

This property is in a great location with easy access to the beach and also into town. We had our adult children and 3 grandsons visiting with us. The house is adequate, but the fact that we were told to bring not only sheets, but pillows and blankets as well was more than we anticipated. There were many beds without any sort of coverlet or comforter, and my bed did not even have a mattress pad on it. There were no coffee tables inside although there was ample couch space. There was a broken window that we reported to the homeowner and the dishwasher leaked. The bikes are rusty and some have flat tires and we were unable to adjust the seats so we could not use them. Also there was no toilet paper upon arrival. For the price things could have been better.

Great Location

The location of this property is 5 stars. Didn't have to drive for the few days we stayed there since we could walk everywhere. The house was as expected. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that upon check in, the house was very dirty. The floor was not swept and mopped, trash was still in the garbage can, sinks were covered in toothpaste and tub floors covered in sand. We communicated with the owner who was very apolohetic and willing to come clean it himself, but since we would have had to wait until 5p or later for that, we just cleaned it ourselves. Otherwise, the stay was great, family had a great time, and I recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a convenient location.

Pro:Walk to beach & town, inside comfortable for 5-6 adults. Our internet went out for a full day - but when we told the owner he did respond right away + helped clear up the issue. Con: The pic’s show bedding but the contract sent after payment stated (on #8) must provide all linens, pillows, blankets. My fault for missing this “clause” as we would not have rented this place (most of us flew in.) so we had to purchase bath towels & sheets, etc. There was mouse dropping in the kitchen cabinets, on dishes & dirty silverware & greasy pans. All had to be washed before use. 1st floor queen bed has noisy springs. Bathrooms need updated.

Walking Distance Paradise

This was a perfect house for our family. It was beautifully decorated and had a real beach house feel. The outside was great with a nice sitting area and large table. There were plenty of beds and it was so nice to have cable TV in every room. The best part was the location. You could walk to everything and the beach was only a few houses away. We had an amazing week!

Why they chose this property

This property is in the perfect location in the heart of Beach Haven. Just park your car and walk to the beach which is a half a block away.

What makes this property unique

This house if perfect if you have kids and need to leave the beach for a lunch or bathroom break without having to get in a car or walk very far between the beach and the house. Fantasy Island and Bay Village is only two blocks away so if you have young teenagers, this gives them the freedom to be independent to walk to the village or go to the arcade and as parents you could feel comfortable knowing that they are not very far.
