The apartment is on the top floor of a well-kept residential complex with an unobstructed view of Lugano and Lake Lugano. It has a large balcony and is modernly equipped (bathrooms completely renovated in 2018, fully equipped new kitchen). Very large community garden and pool. Ideal as a starting point for numerous activities and to relax and to cook well yourself. The ingredients can be sourced from the Swiss and Italian sides - the ital. Border is only 10 km away.

Large outdoor swimming pool (with baby pool) in the area, as well as the tennis and squash courts in the neighborhood for a fee. The large sunbathing area behind the house is suitable for those seeking tranquility. Sun beds are on site.
Good place for rest and relaxation, good starting point for active vacation, city trips, hiking vacation

Fantastic place

We had an amazing time here. The owner, Esther, is quick to reply and answered all of our questions. We had 8 nights here and this is a good amount of nights for exploring the region. The apartment is really nice. We were 4 adults here. 1 bedroom with double bed and 2 beds in the livingroom. 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with all supplies. A fantastic balcony with a stunning view looking over Lake Lugano. It took 10-15 min to drive to Lugano. I would recommend to have a car here. I would definitely recommend this place and I felt secure about payment all the time. Our biggest recommendations.

Wir bewohnten die Ferienwohnung einer sehr sympathischen Gastgeberin. Obwohl wir uns persönlich nicht begegnet sind, fühlten wir uns beim Eintritt in die Wohnung sehr willkommen. Unser Kontakt basierte auf Mails. Fragen wurden prompt beantwortet.Die sehr saubere und komfortable Ferienwohnung befindet sich in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Blick auf Lugano.Wir erfreuten uns an der gepflegten Grünanlage mit Pool.Hilfreich waren die Tipps der Gastgeberin für Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, auch in Italien. Um nach Lugano und Ausflugszielen in der Nähe zu gelangen, nutzen wir den Bus mit einem Wochenticket. Die Bushaltestelle ist nur knapp 10 min entfernt.

Die Wohnung ist supertoll, ganz sauber und ausgestattet mit allem, das man für einen wundervollen Urlaub benötigt. Vom Balkon hat man einen tollen Blick auf den See! Die Anlage drum herum ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber der Pool etc. sind auch sauber. Wir haben sehr gerne auf der Wiese unter den Palmen gelegen und den Blick genossen. Die Wohnung ist bei Temperaturen über 33 Grad sehr warm, auch nachts. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war jederzeit supernett und sie war hilfsbereit und hat uns noch eine mobile Klimaanlage besorgt. Kann die Wihnung sehr empfehlen.

War schöner Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Wohnung super eingerichtet. Auch genügend Gläser und Geschirr. Gutes Internet und am Fernseher deutschsprachige Fernseh und Radiosender. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Einziges Manko. Zum Frühstück gab es weit und breit nichts. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit der Coop in 7 km Entfernung.

Schöne Tage im Tessin

Die Wohnung war perfekt und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen insbesondere die wunderschöne Aussicht vom Balkon auf Lugano und die gepflegte hauseigene Gartenanlage ! Für Unterhaltung von Lektüre bis Netflix war gesorgt. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub.

Familienurlaub mit zwei Kindern in Cadro

Der Kontakt war jederzeit sehr freundlich, die Wohnung perfekt ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Besonders schön fanden wir neben der grandiosen Aussicht, die gepflegte Gartenanlage mit dem grossen Pool. Einzig eine Klimaanlage hätten wir uns gewünscht, aber die Wohnung ist mit ausreichend guten Ventilatoren ausgestattet. Wer hier Ferien macht, wird sicher nicht enttäuscht! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Modern clean property with nice view and excellent service

Before commenting on the property itself, make sure to use a GPS if at all possible. Details are provided when you receive the check-in procedure. Cadro is a small community with many small streets, but charming and the view from the balcony of this property is very nice, overlooking Lugano and part of the lake. Quiet, modern interior and well stocked, including an abundance of tourist information. Communication with the owner Esther is first class. We did not have a chance to use the swimming pool as it was a bit cool (late September) but looks very nice and the grounds in the backyard have ample space to read a book in peace. All in all, a place to stay. Note: We are from Canada and have visited Lugano and the Ticino a few times. This property is now on our list for a future visit.

Clean comfortable and good location

Beautiful, clean, comfortable and well stocked apartment for our 5 day stay. We found the key easily on checkin, but were a little confused on which building the apartment and parking were located. To be fair, it may have been our Goggle translate instructions. Once in it was wonderful and a great location to explore the area.

Luxe appartement met prachtig uitzicht

Het appartement was super, heel ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ondanks de warmte bleef het redelijk koel. Bedden waren prima en het uitzicht vanaf het balkon was prachtig. Met 3 personen moet 1 persoon in de woonkamer slapen, dat is niet ideaal. En je hebt wel altijd een auto nodig om ergens heen te gaan. De omgeving is heel mooi, we hebben veel gebruik gemaakt van de Holiday Card (met korting voor o.a. voor de Monte Bre en Monte San Salvatore). Al met al een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Schöner Tessinurlaub am Rande von Lugano

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Seife, Spülmittel, Waschmaschinentaps, etc. Die Aussicht auf dem Balkon ist herrlich. Frau v.Böhmer ist sehr freundlich und reagiert auf Emails prompt. Sie ist sogar persönlich vorbei gekommen und hat ein Federballspiel für die Kinder abgegeben.
